While Japan is just as homogeneous, that is in South Korea, not Japan. |
| There isn't much of a point for black characters because 98 percent of Japan is of native Japanese roots anyway. The ones I can think of are: Lewis (Bleach) Nadia (Fushigi Umi no Nadia) Choi (Tamako Market) Pedro and Maria (Koe no Katachi) Yoruichi (Bleach) Elean Duga (Baccano) Dutch (Black Lagoon) Anthy (Shoujo Kakumei Utena) That one off character from Steins:Gate's son of a bitch scene |

| I frown at recent installments of Persona and Trails of Cold Steel that introduce harem-like elements in the story. We need more JRPGs like the past Lunar series, where there are multiple romantic pairings in the party other than for the protagonist and main heroine. |
