| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, we got a back to back special this week with two episodes. I'm surprised they actually decided to explore the Ryuchi Caves. As I recall, this is where Kabuto once got his Sage abilities. I have to admit, the otherwordly women there are a bit strange. That's one hell of a place. |

| I wish they would hurry up this discount Sasuke Retrieval Arc instead of doing all these trials and games. I just want them to find Mitsuki already. Also, one hour double episode specials are usually reserved for big, potentially series-changing moments (like the Naruto and Sasuke fight from Shippuuden). There wasn't really any reason to have a double episode this week. They probably should have saved that for the ending of the arc. |

| This episode felt so extra. I got so bored... It was easy to guess that slip up of saying Mitsuki's name, it was begging to happen. I just wish that we get a new OP and ED; this "all in the game" has been around too long, it doesn't even for the themes being explored. To be honest, it should've been changed as we entered the climax of the otsutsuki arc |

| They sure go to far lengths for Mitsuki especially Boruto, he's lucky to have friends like them. That Garaga snake sure looks tough in the preview, they won't get that reverse scale easily considering how weak Boruto is. |

| Are you fucking kidding me? Of all the puzzles they could of thought for Boruto to deal with, they decided on block shapes? Wat? To make matters even worse, not only do they reach the sage lady, they have another task to deal with... Ugh. |

I guess that's what happened when they introduced such a technology to ninja era, I think. the white snake sage now can turn into a human form, but I was wondering why she took the granny one. she could form as the most beautiful women in there, as a ruler of the cave. |

| Now thats the last thing i thought a cave would look like. But have to say their ruse was quite elaborate. Being eaten if you fail is quite the incentive. The trial of the heart sure was the tougher one of the three. Looks like hunting giant snakes is next on the agenda. |

| I don't usually bother commenting on something like this, but this episode was extremely poorly written. The "trials" (if you can call them that) of Ryuichi Cave were something a toddler could solve, especially the second puzzle which was quite literally a shape sorter for babies... and they were trying to make it seem like these were some sort of difficult tasks. Huge disconnect between the writers and their target audience in this episode. |
