'Add' and 'Ignore' options for My Anime/Manga Suggestions

For quite a while the suggestions have been frustrating me to no end with titles that I have either no plan of watching/reading, or titles that I actively dislike/hate.

So, basically, what I'm suggesting is something like this (excuse the mediocre photoshop):

'Add' option: Let's say you want to add Death March anime to your list, you click the 'add' option and this pops up:
This is already a thing, so I don't see why it can't be implemented here as well.

'Ignore' option: If you want to never again see a title get in the recommendations, you use the 'ignore' option. The titles you ignored will be in a list that only YOU will be able to access. (I want to stretch this point since the option for a new and public 'Not Interested' list has often requested and rejected. This will not be such a list!)
Maybe put it on the top right corner, like this:
This way you'll be able to access the ignored titles list whenever you want and un-Ignore or check the titles you have ignored.

Of course, the final product should look more refined and etc., I'm just terrible at photoshop. It'll be a quick and easy option for all users. So, how bad does this sound?

I agree that this would be a nice quality of life update but I would rather that the developers create a "Will Not Watch" list instead.

I like the idea, seen many people pushing for an ignore for this feature but not one that includes add and a list of ignored titles. I prefer this over a 'will not watch' section in our lists since this is just about anime and manga suggestions from the site.

It's been suggested a number of times before, but I think it's just laziness that has prevented it from being a feature rather than being too difficult to implement or being against MAL's policies.

In my opinion this feature is absolutely necessary for the suggestions feature to be useful. The bots need direct feedback if their efforts are being approved of so they can fix themselves in the future. This is how learning bots work.

Use malgraph's recommended section. From my experience it's much more accurate.

Not really necessary, but it still sounds interesting

I feel this would be useful, more so the 'Ignore' option. I've had the same suggestions for almost the entire time I've been on this site, and most of them are sequels to shows I've dropped or sequels to shows that are in Purgatory my Plan To Watch list.

Yes it'd be great to have an ignore function. The majority of my anime recommendations are season 2's of anime i don't care about.

Yeah it's a great idea. Also Ajin is a series I'd like you to think about unless you hate CGI but that's simply my opinion on the show.

Don't care for add but would definitely like the Ignore option. Most of my recommended are popular shows that i have no intention of watching. I'd rather have some more obscure titles in my recommendations
