| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Seems like a buildup episode for the finale. Aoi and the others knows what's at stake in their future and is prepared to deal with whatever obstacle. Despite the tense atmosphere, Aoi is still very free spirited and continues to make food with the others. Damn it, not another cliffhanger :( |

| Even after losing her sense of taste its nice to see Aoi still displays a desire to cook the ocean treasure though. Raiju's last attempt to stop them sure is childish but the timely intervention from Oordana and his staff and the deal they agreed to sure dealt with that matter nicely. Allowing the Umi Bozu to choose what they want sure was an interesting choice. Im curious to see what happened that provoked such a reaction from Aoi though. Can't wait to see the last episode next week. But this ep did a great job of building up to the final though. |

| That was a bad spot to end the episode, because I am going to forget what had happened by the time the next episode airs. Still hate the kappa. The scene where Orio ya was being all friendly with Tenjin ya was kind of cringy. Other than that, I loved this episode. It's sad that the next one is going to be the last one. |

| Yeah same, I really don't like Chibi, lol. I mean I guess without him, we'd never who Umibozu is, but still. I laughed when Ranmaru and Ginji were like "WTF" and tried to continue the dance. What a cliffhanger D: I've never been itching to watch the next episode for this series, but now I am! It doesn't seem like Umibozu is a scary ayakashi or anything though. Especially with those tiny hands and actually choosing a rather normal dish. It's nice to see Tenjin-ya working together with Orio-ya. |

| They really take ceremonies on this Ayakashi world very extremely seriously! I wonder how Umi-bouzu looks like? Damn Chibi messing things-up or actually making things better by instantly being friends with Umi-Bouzu...What's-up with Aoi getting so shocking surprised upon seeing the Actial Umi-Bousu... All those food that Aoi prepared are so delicious! 4/5. |

| Well, that was a helluva cliffhanger... Talk about intense! So like, is the Umi-bouzu allergic to shellfish? Is he laughing himself silly because of Chibi? Is he something other than what everybody expects? I kinda can’t wait to find out. And to think, he just showed up in the latest episode of ‘Gegege no Kitaro’, too! |

| For a second there I thought it wasn't the real Oodanna-sama.. That Raiju was playing some games with them again lol I'm sorry Oodanna-sama to have ever doubted you!! Ranmaru's sudden change after Aoi said Ranmaru entrusted her with the cooking. Finally he has stopped acting like a total ass. Yayyy And Ginji looks so prettyyyyy I always thought he looked really feminine in that form during the opening and now I know why lol That stupid kappa messing things up, so desperate for cucumbers. But Ranmaru and Ginji's reactions were GOLD!!! |

| dang I have to reiterate again, I really hate the writing style in this show. I knew Aoi would get to have a look at the Umi Bouzo somehow, and she's so friggin dumb, pulling that curtain up on impulse despite already been warned, she's putting risk on the entire island and population, and yet we somehow know that she will be fine and will escape this unscatched, and she's weak and would not be able to do anything by herself. She's such a shitty protagonist. I know I may come off as a hypocrit saying that because I love Saiunkoku Monogatari but Shuurei has worked hard for everything she's earned, and even when she got herself into danger, she knew full well of the risk, and doesn't try to play the hero like 100% of the time even when she's the guest in the house. Good god Aoi is friggin horrible as the protagonist. |
