| Ryou pretty explicitly has feelings for Akira both manga and anime, but it's not a very happy work. Very gory, and unhappy, so be prepared for that. I'd say a large theme of Crybaby is Ryou understanding his feelings for Akira. The director even reblogged someone's LGBT meta about an LGBT reading of Crybaby on his twitter. There's also a supporting character in Crybaby who is explicitly gay, but, well. Unhappy! |
