Web Manga Sousenkyo 2018 has announced winners on Thursday. The winners are chosen by the fans voting for the web manga series that serialized in web platforms such as Line Manga and comico, then later publicized physically. 705,716 votes total has been received for 50 nominations.

#01: Shijuushichi Taisen by Hifumi (Comic Earth Star)
#02: Uramichi Onii-san by Gaku Kuze (Comic POOL)
#03: Ojisama to Neko by Umi Sakurai (Gangan pixiv)
#04: SeleBest Oda Nobunaga by Gentleman Nakamura (LEED Cafe Comics)
#05: Sasaki to Miyano by Shou Harusono (Gene pixiv)
#06: Motohashi Kyoudai by RENA (torch comics)
#07: Maki to Mami: Joushi ga Suitai Genre no Ota Nakama Datta Hanashi by Kayu Machida (Gene pixiv)
#08: Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi by Shiromanta (Comic POOL)
#09: Gokushufudou by Kousuke Oono (Kurage Bunch)
#10: Inu to Neko Docchi mo Katteru to Mainichi Tanoshii by Hidekichi Matsumoto (Nakayoshi)

Web Manga Sousenkyo was first held last year between pixiv and Nippon Shuppan Hanbai inc. (Nippan) with a goal to choose web manga that currently in love by the users by voting. The web manga that can nominate and vote for winners are those already physically released via compiled volumes.

im happy Gokushufudou and Sasaki to Miyano ranked :D both are really well done series. i've also heard great things about Uramichi Onii-san

also, i'm surprised the one ranked #1 doesn't have a mal entry, apparently it also has 4 volumes out? there doesn't appear to be any english translations for it right now, which is a shame, it looks rather interesting :0

Would be nice if this year 1st winner gets anime also or maybe Uramichi Onii-san or even Sasaki to Miyano.

i wonder what awards qualify to get reported here since tsugi ni kuru awards is not reorted, even they have more relevance in mal (since they has physical printed section) than this...

Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi is something I'd watch if it got an anime.

Aaahhh I'm so happy Sasamiya was 5th! It's such a fantastic BL series I can't sing enough praise for it! (Here's to hoping it one day gets an anime)
