I wish they spent more time with developing the Mongol General since he is an important figure. On the other hand, it's nice to see Jinzaburou and the troops counterattacking the Mongols. The fight between Kuchii and Shiraishi was brief but quite intense. The convo between the two before the end was quite sad. Despite her words Teruhi still saw Shiraishi as a comrade huh. Teruhi's dire warning sure was a sight to see. As omens go the flaming one was a dire one. The merchant sure is sneaky with his plan but it was funny seeing Amushi refuse due to Sana. Using the torches to show their true numbers was crafty. The ending was interesting though with clan politics keeping friendly reinforcements away and a new mongol fleet approaching. A shame about Shiraishi if he didn't betray them I would of liked to see him and Jinzburou fight together against the mongols longer. The princess just can't resist kissing Jinzburou every time he's sleeping. lol Onitakemaru's comments about Jinzburou just being obsessed with war now are interesting and judging by his expression at the end something bad is gonna happen. Hoping for some good action next episode. |
That was a nice episode. The Shiraishi fight was short but in a way, I liked that it was short as it felt like a proper samurai battle and not a battle shounen. Teruhi-hime continues to kiss Kuchii in his sleep. God she just can't resist it. |
That princess is a real slut though. Anyways, Shiraishi got killed in a fast and pathetic I would say he deserved it but I'm conflicted. It looks like the the reinforcements from Hakata aren't coming, it looks like the Mongols have trapped them like rats. I think they will lose this war, there is no way around it. I wish this anime was as long as Hyouge Mono. I still have hope for reinforcements! I don't know the history or the manga, but I'm still hoping the clan leader's son decides his country is more important than his clan. (actually now that I write it out... I kind of doubt it... Suspense!) ...but then again, I unironically like Warau Salesman. |

Well, that confrontation was... quick? Like... I was expecting a little more effort from Shiraichi but I think he didn't even deserve that. He even got hit by a random arrow, that made me laugh actually. Teruhi-hime is thirsty as hell!! It's like a habit of hers, every time Kuchii sleeps, she's there, behind a tree, waiting... xD Oh man, they're all completely surrounded. How will they manage to get out of this? Although Kuchii's "smile" at the end gives me hopes.  |
not even at the halfway point of this episode, just wanna say that this anime is kinda trash.. we got reminded that Kuchii and the other exiles have only been there for about 5 days, and this princess already want to get in Kuchii's pants and is sexually assaulting him in his sleep. The fuck? I swear Japan can't put out good romance anymore these days. Most of the ones I've seen are trash.
