 The eighth compiled volume of Joshikausei manga has announced a TV anime adaptation for the series on Wednesday. The anime is slated for next year.Synopsis: Who needs dialog when you're this cute? The beautiful (but unlucky) Momoko, the cool, collected Shibumi, and the refreshingly innocent Mayumi star in a "silent manga." No speeches, no dialog! Just pictures, sound effects, and three high school girls living their daily lives. (Source: Crunchyroll) The manga has been serialized via Web Comic Action by Ken Wakai since September 2013. | oh i remember reading this, they literally dont talk, just cute artstyle, and cute girls. if they dont put any VA at all, they will cut a considerable amount of budget, not gonna happen though |

| The last "silent" manga I know that got an animated adaptation was Gon, but they put all sorts of characters in it who talk while Gon growls. Granted, that was a kids' show; they may be smart and not do that here, but the episodes will have to be short if it's to work. |

Nojay said: I used to "translate" this series, mostly it was figuring out SFX, translating labels on things etc. or cultural details (like the name of the kid's "train" song in the playground in chapter 1). I stopped translating when Crunchyroll started to release it. Great to hear it's getting an anime. It's got to be shorts, it's very episodic and practically the definition of Slice of Life. Well, I did not read this manga, only "flipped through" a couple of chapters, and it seemed to me that it was rather a set of slice of life scenes. |
