I just finished watching Perfect Blue in theaters. I’ve seen it before, but I feel that seeing it in theaters a second time was a whole new experience. I caught details in the movie that I didn’t notice upon my first viewing. Anyone else see it in Theaters in 2018?

Yes! First time viewing and it was great to see 90s anime in theaters. Added to the uneasiness and glad I got to view it this way. Would love to see more Satoshi Kon movies get theater runs.

Saw it in theaters with my friend who hadn't seen it before. The cinematic experience made it spectacular and she and I both loved it.

Saw it for the first time tonight in theaters with a friend of mine who never watched it before either. We had a great time and loved this movie! Kept me guessing the whole time about what was really going on. I also enjoyed the interview with Satoshi Kon after the credits.

9/10! Glad I got to see this for the 20th Anniversary!
So glad that I'm not a huge manga reader, because the manga readers WHINE WAY TOO MUCH and have to RUIN every adapted anime for the ANIME ONLY WATCHERS!

Just saw it today at theaters for the very first time and really enjoyed it even though it had really dark theme and mood. Really loved the ending and had goosebumps after the movie. Now I want to watch all Satoshi Kon's movies

@kaiki_fan_boy They're doing screenings at Marcus Theatres right now in at least a couple states if you're in the US. There should be one more set on the tenth!

Just saw it in the theaters , I definitely felt weird driving home XD
This was my 2nd time seeing it and it was really surreal seeing it on the big screen.

Oh wow they’re showing it in theaters again this year? Nice. I just hope your guys’ experience ended up better than mine. Back when I watched it in 2018, there was this goofball who kept making little jokes and one liners throughout the film until someone in the front row told him to stfu lol.

Just came out of a 2:30 PM showing. The theater was almost completely full, people had to sit in the front rows
