| OG Minecraft. probably until ver 1.2.5. i remember playing this with my school friends back in the day (i feel so old). coming home from school around 4 and grabbing a cup of tea or milk and just chilling out with the bros, either making a base or expanding our housing complex in a big server. and the great thing was that there was no mic chat. everything we communicated was through in game chat and i remember literally LoLing at my monitor by myself whenever my friends or i typed up some random joke. damn those were the good ole days ;_; |

Man Perfect World International brings back memories of its glory days. I'm not sure about feels like home, but old FIFA games are definitely up there. The pinchcliffe grand prix game also hits close to home, but that's definitely a Norwegian thing. Some other games would be Mulle Mekk, Evil Genius and of more recent times Dishonored and Metro. |
| It's probably gonna sound like a cliche, but it would have to be Minecraft. While I do play a lot of games, Minecraft is probably still at the top as my most played game of all time. Played since 2012 to this day. Minecraft let's plays helped me learn english back when I really sucked at it (I was one of the worst in my class and living in a non english speaking country sure doesn't help) The first online friends I made were in minecraft, the first time I joined an internet forum (community) was based on minecraft, I hopped on from building in creative to playing minigames on fun servers, to PVP, and then to modded minecraft (mostly technic and FeedTheBeast) Minecraft as a whole (till version 1.12) gives me this nice and cozy feeling that I know I wanted, and I feel like I've always belonged there. Aside from minecraft, Mario kart and Kirby Super Star Ultra (both for the DS) were gmes I spent way too much time on, and they just gives me that feeling of nostalgia when I think of them... |
