The woman he pledges his heart to will be a lucky lady indeed. At this point, Kanoko has been with the detective for about a year. She asks about his father and he doesn't seem inclined to tell her. But he's not lying when he says he doesn't have "a father or mother or property to inherit". Will this be the cause of the inevitable separation to touching reunion arc? |
