| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I'm actually pretty glad to see Oono again. The show felt different without her. Not much as arcade gaming as some of the other episodes but I'm okay with it. I also find it funny seeing Koharu showing a more aggressive side of her personality. Again, I still like Oono and Haruo better together. They just have this really unique character chemistry. |

| I feel increasingly sorry for Hidaka, god damn it. But her smile at the end, i do have the hope that she will just treasure the moments with him and enjoy youth like this if it doesn't work out romantically. Ono in angry/jealous mode is so cute. Her faces were great. |
| MC is unrelatable somewhat in that I'm sure at least nine out of ten boys would be attracted to Hidaka instead(not to say that I like her as a character any better, just in irl terms), which makes for an interesting dynamic between me and him(as otherwise, he is clearly designed as a relatable nostalgia machine) Good week |

| i did find it adorable that Hidaka bought Final Fight just to get closer to whats-his-face...only to find out the SNES version is one player. shame that this whole deal is one-sided against her, doesnt help that he's a dumdum lol |
| Dammit, I already watched this episode and I cannot wait to see the new one next week. I wonder if the game Darkstalkers will be featured in the show. Again I feel bad for Hidaka, but sadly she has no chance agains Oono. |

Ono tries to step on Haruo's foot, he evades...into a ponytail whip! Haha! Hidaka's attempts to get closer to Haruo continues in vain...and Ono keeps getting cucked! What to do? What to do? Come on next episode, hurry up! |

| Yaguchi really is simple minded idiot. He never knows the right thing to say to Oono nor Hidaka. It does make me wonder if he actually will figure anything out by the end of the season. Oona increased her cuteness this ep anyway. |
| Good episode. I do feel sad for Hidaka as well, she's a sweet girl but unfortunately Haruo doesn't have his eyes on her at all. Ono's angry faces are absolutely adorable. Farabeuf said: I cannot understand why Haruo cannot talk to Oono more normally. He came across like a bit of an ass at the end with her. +1 on this. Especially the part where he called her a thorn seemed extremely unwarranted and harsh. If only Haruo weren't so clueless. :( The step dodge into the ponytail attack at the end was gold though. |

| Though Luck! I can't believe the train left them behind... well, at least Haruo could spend some time with Hidaka. So it's Game Over at the hotel ^^; if only the teacher wouldn't find out, so the boys could enjoy some game together... but hey, the good thing is that the hotel have a Arcade Room so it's not that bad! That idiot! If only he couldn't dodge his feet but at least Oono got a trick under her sleeve XD I can't wait for next episode! :3 |

| Hidaka already understands that Haruo is not interested in her, wich is fine to me, would be nice to see a direct game competition with her and Akira btw, that sensei outfit is a reference to Tao Pai Pai (?) |
| I keep liking Hidaka as a character more and more. I find her love/hate relationship with video games interesting. How she says that she's glad it brought them together, but how it's driven a wedge between them as well. Kind of a realistic portrayal, really. I do dislike how she somewhat feels like she wants to change Haruo into something other than a game-addict, but something tells me that will go away over time, as she begins to appreciate games more, herself. The single-player Final Fight gag was pretty good, too. I wonder if she'll end up getting Final Fight 2 later on, since that actually does have co-op. :P As for Ono, Haruo just keeps messing things up with her, calling her a thorn in his side, and generally just giving her a passive-aggressive attitude. I'm sure things will go well for them down the line but currently it just seems like Haruo enjoys being around Hidaka more, which I'm honestly fine with. |

| Progression is mediocre, it's pretty average in general and starts to get repetitive. But oh well the retro games sure do it for me! Let's see what's next. |

| this was quite a beautiful episode. i actually felt bad for hidaka here,seeing how much she unrequitedly loved him :(. still dont get why ono was mad last episode though :/ |
