Looking at it now, you've got 4, and they all aired the day after you were born. | The closest I could find is one I've never seen. And it doesn't really look interesting enough for me to try and dig around to find it. It was originally released in 1985 on August 25th (despite MAL listing it at being released in 1990- not sure why MAL doesn't have the original release date). Anyway. That's the closest. My birthday is actually tomorrow - so August 24th 1985. The anime is a day younger than me. But like I said- I haven't seen it. | The anime closest to my date of birth is Harisu no Kaze It looks like it could be interesting. I haven't tried looking for it, but finding a subtitled version would be probably be unlikely. Of anime I've actually watched, Speed Racer is the closest, and it happens to also be the first anime I ever watched. |

| SIGH Making me add more stuff to my PTW right when I've finally started to make a dent in. MAKING ME DO MATH because of TIME ZONES. Alright, so my birthday is October 24th, but since MAL entries starting/airing dates are based off of Japan's time zone and based on the time that I was born my birthday anime would be: Emblem Take 2 (Aired: Oct 25, 1993 [JST which would be October 24th PST]). -The first thing I noticed was the name. WAS IT A SEQUEL? WAS THAT JUST THE TITLE? GDI MAKE IT CLEAR! But after I read the synopsis I found that "Take 2" refers to how the main character has the chance to do over a part of his life. Now if we're going by TV anime only (no OVAs and such-- though I dunno why those wouldn't count), then the TV anime closest to my birthday is Slam Dunk (Aired: October 16, 1993). I've heard a lot about Slam Dunk and have been wanting to watch it-- after I finish my PTW. I usually just pay attention to anime made in 1993 in general or on my birthday regardless of the year (though I've just reminded myself that if they said the 24th their time, then I wouldn't have been born until 25th their time), but I've never actually tried to see if an anime aired on the same day as my full birthday. I have been thinking of watching as many anime from 1993 as I could AFTER I finished my PTW though! |
