You can google it (in the format "site:myanimelist.net/manga [manganame]") or copy the ID somehow. Like if you're adding a character to a series, you can add them to a non-approved one. If you right click the series name and then copy the link, it'll give you a script in the format chooseManga(113795,'Bakudan\x20Handan');, with the number 113795 being the series Bakudan Handan's id. It'll also appear in the bottom of the browser if you just hover it with your mouse, and you can also get the id from the "add another picture" option after submitting a series for approval.
