Can't add my P5 waifu to favorite characters(adding Kawakami)

I cannot add her to my favorite characters. She is not searchable that way.

However when trying to add a new character entry, she is definitely already there in the animelist database, associated with P5. This is a bug. She should appear in character search.

Also she is not listed in the "Characters & Staff" section of P5:
