DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, that was certainly awesome to see animated, especially the more surreal stands as Golden Experience and Sticky Fingers. The anime art style turned out to be spot-on. I can't wait until the regular airing starts. I wonder what the OP will be. |

| An okay start to the part who never caught my interest. 3/5 I don't understand what this particular episode has to make it immediately better than any episode from the previous series... You can't jab at a moving image, you could find many flaws in many anime then. |

| I wonder if it should be regarded as "Currently Airing" while we won't have the anime until Oct 5. And it may be part of the reasons why it's controversial that the anime is rated this high without being formally airing. Overall, DP did a good job on the 1st ep. But some scenes could have been better if they're not so rushed. Then again, I understand that DP would like to add as many interesting contents as they can into this ep to intrigue the audience. My biggest complain is still about the Seiyuu choice. Honestly, the voice actors of part 5 in ASB are the only crew that I have no problem with and would love to see them all in the anime. But they ended up being totally replaced, which shocked me so much when I first heard the announcement. Sugiyama-san being changed is my biggest disappointment. He is the perfect match for Bruno. His ARIARI can be topped by no one. I see no reasons to replace him. (Actually, the only reason I can think of is that he's dragged down by Namikawa-san's scandal as he's employed by Namikawa's company as far as I know.) Don't get me wrong, I also like Nakamura-san, but he better nails ARIARI & all those Bruno's famous lines. Still gonna be super looking forward to the anime, because after all, VA is my most favorite part in JJBA franchise. |

Well trust me, if the episode wasn't leaked but people who most probably wasn't at the screensing were rating this high such as with basically every other hyped anime that got screening before the official release, I'll be bitching too. But as the episode is available to everyone, this is legit rating (well except those tards who create fake accounts to upwote/downwote this, fuck them). |

| Late to this thread because I forgot MAL existed for a while there wo o ps God, I loved that first episode. I was really worried about not liking this tbh, the preview images were all kinda like nnnnnnnnnnnn. But this and the short character PVs restored my hope ww VA is my absolute favorite JoJo part and there's just... so many things I look forward to seeing animated. |

| Was a pretty good first episode, and I'm glad to see Jojo return. We got to know Giorno a bit and got some interesting revelations about him. It was also nice to see Koichi and Jotaro again. Bruno seems like a cool character as well, and overall, I'm looking forward to this (bizarre) adventure. |

| Solid first episode imo. The character reactions and appearance of the main characters has my attention. Loved the stylish art for this too. Giorno is pretty cool to watch and it's neat to see some Stands in action already. Felt like the usual Jojo atmosphere that I was expecting and it's pretty damn entertaining experience. |
