| Great episode! The way Mikio treated his seconds and disregarded everyone as he clung to his beliefs, turning a blind eye to the consequences and even to his own well-being was enough to make clear why he wasn't chosen to inherite the fortune and everything else. But I agree a bit with Yuuri, he went all the way and didn't give up, he did what he could and it's commendable to a degree, he didn't hurt anyone deeply in the process and now he can start again. But now about the fight, I was so hyped when Joe used the iconic no-guard stance, I thought the equally iconic cross counter was imminent, but then he finishes it all with an uppercut! That old guy that helped them to find the matches represented me as he stood up with excitement screaming: "YES!" Joe had some character development too, at first he didn't mind at all being a stray dog and even stated that he needed no name when Yuuri asked for his at the beginning, but now he made Mikio aware that he's Joe, not just some stray. I also loved when Joe confronted Yuuri and said: "Hey champion. Here I am, as promised, in your ring." There's still a match before the final one and it seems like something bad is going to happen to Nanbu! |

| So Mikio is butthurt that Yuri didn't use Ace and now wants to prove to him that Ace is superior than whatever gear he's using? Mikio doesn't have the skills if someone gearless can beat him. So glad Joe won but he was obviously going to win anyway but still, it's nice to see Mikio get his arrogant rich ass beaten down. Also that taunting flirting exchange between Yuri and Joe after the fight lol Also that man trying to marry off his unborn daughter to Joe LOL Looks like it's the end of the line for Nanbu |

| Joe was getting ravaged by Ace every time he went for the offensive because of the version he made specially for Yuri was made to expect any and all incoming attacks. It looked like that it had no weaknesses but Joe exploiting its immediate response to the simplest gesture of defense by simply dropping his guard to throw the AI off whether Mikio wanted it or not was genius. Nanbu's a bad better as usual and Joe knew that and went for the opposite and it actually worked out. One big punch got him into the biggest Megalo Box tournament ever! |

| Sad that how the discussion died down starting this episode, I wonder why? Seeing JD adapting Yabuki's No Guard Stance made me jump! I was waiting for JD to use that eventually. |

| Great episode! One punch is all Joe needs to win, that uppercut was awesome. Mikio's mistake was relying on the gear, maybe if he turned off auto-mode things probably would have been different. Damn, what deal did Nanbu actually make with Fujimaki. |

| That was a really smart way of beating an AI opponent, the ending worries me tho |
| Though this show has its moments i dont like how Joe gets knocked some much each fight and then manages to punch his opponent once and wins the match. |
