It looks like Luck had his moments of fun from that battle and he definitely proves himself to be a battle maniac. Same with Magna. They really wanted to prove themselves. God damn it, the episode had to end with that cliffhanger... |

| BC is overall a very mediocre shonen and the Pierrot's animation isn't doing the manga justice AT ALL, but that last clash was exciting. However, it loses all its impact when you realize there is no way the main bad guy of the arc is going down just from that. |

| I'm actually very surprised Pierrot didn't extend the hell out of Luck and Magna's flashbacks. I was waiting for that but they kept it short like it was in the manga. Well Luck and Magna managed to fulfill their role of keeping Vetto occupied long enough for Asta to show up and watch them go down. Obviously there's no way they're taking him out with that move. |

| Not as good as the Yami episode but a bit of nicely animated action here and there with Luck's 1 on 1 with him. Incredibly up and down between quality though. |

| That cliffhanger, that combo magic looked really nice. Magna and Luck were on the same page when it came to the plan of attack. Sad I have to wait a week before I can see if the combo magic actually worked or not... This arc is quite good so far. |

| Even though I really dislike this series as a whole. Luck and Manga along with Noelle and Yami are one of the few things that I liked about this awful series. Though the Seabed Temple Arc is a pretty okay compared to the abomination Gauche/The Eye of the Midnight Sun Arc |
| The eye of the midnight sun sure picked the best time to gatecrash the party though. Vetto isn't just the brute that he appears to be though. The game certainly become more exciting with the cult dropping in and the forming of an alliance between the temple guardians and the knights. Luck and magma's fight against Vetto though was pretty impressive. Interesting how they mixed in how the two of them were upon their first meeting. |

| I really like it when Yami is being charismatic and commanding the Black Bulls like a badass leader! Luck and Magna fighting against Vetto were pretty good, but aside from that, some bits of information about them is revealed. (I bet someone out there is shipping Luck X Magna) |

| Finally he's back Yami really speaks for the whole team and acts really like a captain he knows what he's doing and wants his members to surpass their limits even though he wants to kill them when they die lmao Magna and Luck trying their best to handle their opponent, Flashbacks when they first met not much of a difference even today that really makes their bond strong I wonder what Asta and Kiato will do in this situation, Asta's trance was actually hilarious he looks so blank lmao his face is straight-up blank (P.C. Luck teaching us how to make a Magna Typhoon although we can't do that can we poor Magna he's so used to being a typhoon) |

| So this beast guy (Despair was it??) is like one of the strongest characters in the whole anime at the moment, but I'm glad they don't reserve someone equally or nearly as strong for him to fight, like Yami who's just chilling right now. Instead we have him facing off against Luck and Magna, who are actually barely holding their own against him, and even look to have dealt substantial damage (inb4 the next episode where he goes SIKE that did nothing lul!!). The fight between Yami and Licht was done pretty freaking well. But still as a whole, I still find the animation underwhelming, and probably doesn't do the manga justice at all. That's okay, because the openings and endings more than make up for it imo. |
