| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Interesting, we got Nami making her appearance this episode. It's about time Sousuke gets more allies in this season. The episode gave me a favorable impression with her personality so far. Not a fan of the CG stuff but the mecha battle was fine. It would of been better imo if they removed the CG though. Nami's past isn't pleasant but by this point, I think it's no surprise anymore for most of the characters. Lol, the ending. | That was a weird but intriguing direction this show is taking. Nami seems fine so far. But I'm kinda wondering if she is just a normal girl or if she maybe someone "special". And the fights whilst a bit too heavy with the CG, was fun. I hope they connect this with the Kaname situation well. But so far, good start. |
| I like the new girl and setting. I almost expected the crew from Black Lagoon to show up in this kind of town, LOL. The CGI is meh as usual. I wish more production companies looked at something like Megalobox and see how gorgeous and well animated 2d looks even with todays budget limitations. |

| (Personal) Best FMP Girl has arrived! I don't think the fight was quite that... extravagant in the LNs. Could be wrong though. Glossed over certain minor (literally minor, nothing important was detracted) stuff and one light joke, but no big deal. They even had to skip the ending. |
| Hmm, this was not what I expected, it felt like the first episode of a brand new show. That said, I'm not against it, as long as they tie it in with the Chidori situation soon. This is an interesting setting with some interesting characters, and I'm curious to see what they'll do with it. At first I was wondering if this camera guy was Weber in disguise, he looks a lot like him. Farabeuf said: I almost expected the crew from Black Lagoon to show up in this kind of town, LOL. They did 1.5 chapter in this episode. The show in a whole. We are at 29/90 if people wondering. |
| Man, there was only a delay of one week, but it feels like eons has passed since the last episode. Not gonna lie, I was confused as heck as first, and if not for Sousuke's presence and the mechas, I would had thought I was watching a different show. Not that this is bad, since Nami and Lemon are so far nice characters and I'm sure there is a reason involving the stuff with Kaname and Amalgam of why Sousuke is here, but it was still weird. I like to see that Sousuke is still a badass after his previous defeat. He owning that asshole of Dao both in the AS fight and personally was great. | What a messy episode. Everything just felt totally off compared to the earlier four episodes. First of all: The animation... holy crap. I thought we had seen the last of these cheap quality episodes years ago, yet it was resurrected in this episode. And let's not talk about the direction.. We knew that Sagara would sweep the floor in both the competition he volunteered to and the whole assault scene in the end, yet they tried to create some kind of non-existing suspense. I'm at such loss of words over how bad this episode was that I honestly can't continue writing. I hope they get their act together and turn the remaining 7 episodes into something decent. |
| A new arc begins without much explanation, but I think it will come with time, so no problems, because I liked this new development, new characters were presented, I really liked Nami, but I know that in FMP a character does not stand out by chance , I fear for her future, but I like to see Sousuke struggling even without a mecha .. |

| I honestly thought I was watching a different anime when this episode started. :O New setting and characters introduced completely confused me a bit. Took long enough before Sagara reappeared. Anyway, I like the new girl, Nami. But I wonder if she will be a character only for this arc or not? Looking forward to see what happened to the other character (Tessa, Chidori, etc.) hopefully in the next episode or so. |

My personal favorite character from this arc. I hope it ends up differently from the source though. Speaking of which...if anybody doesn't want to have the anime be spoiled for them, DO NOT watch or play the upcoming PS4 game "Full Metal Panic! Fight! Who Dares Win" to be released in May 31, 2018, until after you finish this anime...because it's basically this anime in game-form. |
| I've been somewhat lost as it is, watching this show, because it's been a really long time since I've watched the previous seasons... And I had even less of an idea what was going on at the start of this one, thinking it was possibly a flashback episode, or something. BUT, I wound up really digging it. It carried with it shades of Suisei no Gargantia and Black Lagoon, with the new characters and backdrop. All around, I have to say, I really liked it. |

| This season been great since the start. I m really really loving this. Xebec thank you! I m digging the new girl, and the episode felt refreshing, I though they would follow immediatly after Sousuke is getting out of school, but this sudden change of scenary also left me craving for more! |

| Never mess with specialists, particularly with Sohsky Seagull. Sagara gets a brief moment of solace, albeit an intensive one. His new-found acquaintances are also intriguing, both of them are a lot more capable than they seem. Too bad that they are not aware of the fact that remaining close to Sagara brings misfortune, despite occasional ounces of comic relief. I am definitely looking forward to seeing how ongoing affairs will unfold. |

| Giant Killing was a good show, but what about that Mithril?? Do like the new setting. Nami's cute, and Seagull gets to be badass again. |

I think it's inferior to The Second Raid in just about every way, which as far as I'm concerned is the gold standard for FMP. The new characters in this episode seem OK, if a bit cookie cutter. Nami reminds me a lot of Kiki Rosita from Gundam 08th MS Team. A bit of a troublemaker, but endearing. Still kinda felt like a filler episode after already having a non-episode last week. At least the mech physics seemed better this episode. They rightfully portrayed the old RK-92 like it was a clunker, but Sousuke was still able to compensate. I would've preferred the match had more of a struggle, like a piece of equipment malfunctioning on Sousuke's AS causing a handicap for him. It lacked any tension. |

| The first half.. it was a bit difficult to follow along.. I wasn't interested in following the story line of some characters I hadn't seen before.. But the moment sousuke showed up, I immediately started getting into it. And the ending was worth it xD I'm still not 100% into the new characters but I can't wait to see what role they will have on the story.. which I hope I'll get to see a lot of in the next episode! |
