37 Objects were harmed during the making of this film...

That fact alone blows my sense of scale. The Capitalist Corporations throw 30 into the mix, apparently their entire Atlantic garrison. And that is about as many as we've seen destroyed up to this point in the previous volumes. Although with Quenser and Princess deleting 3 in most volumes, these numbers shouldn't be surprising, because otherwise the story would progress simply because their enemies ran out of tanks.

A story about the weakened coastal defenses of the CC would be an easy sequel, although I don't believe a kill-count was stated in the end. The Faith Organization lost quite a bit: 5 objects, venerable elder, and Skuld. Looks like the LK will need to take a hit soon to balance the scales.

There was actually quite a bit that annoyed me about this volume. The lack of foreshadowing is probably the most irritating to me. The first missed opportunity was the Capulet processor report; the second was Kihara Enshuu's Venerables Elder's machine to mimic personalities: both listed only events and characters we already know, and failed to add anything new to these topics. So much for world building.

The quality of this series is honestly going down hill and is getting severely repetitive.
Don't believe the hype.
