| Sounds like a Naruto exclusive thread to me. I skip some OP/EDs I don't like and recap scenes that are repetitive. I skip a whole episode if it's a full recap one. And rarely, but sometimes, I skip long explanations I don't understand. And most fillers in battle shounen shows. |

| I skip the OP and ED, but I watch everything else unless: -There are long transformation sequences I've seen a dozen times before or -The show is really, really slow and I'm trying to skip to when something happens. That last is extremely rare since I usually just speed up the playback in those instances, but even when I do skip, it's only to a couple of seconds ahead. I also don't usually watch the preview clips, because 90% of the time I'm just going straight to the next episode, but I do look for after-credits scenes. |

| It is frowned upon to skip anything other than the OP/ED, recap episodes and fillers. You should just watch the whole thing and rate it lower if you were bored, that’s what the 1-10 rating system is for. Not every anime is as exciting as the next, unfortunately. |

I mean, I don't think that a long explanation of a theory that I already know is relevant to whether or not I watch anime. Just because I skip something that I already know, doesn't mean that I don't like anime. Something like Boku no Hero academia. Those screenshots of the description of the hero are scenes are scenes that I skip because I already know what their quirk is and I don't think that anything on there impacts the anime itself. But I think that it's my fault for not mentioning that I rarely skip episodes; I don't skip everything. |

| I personally feel like doing that ruins the experience, you gotta watch everything. I see many people saying they skip the OPs and EDs, those are some of the best parts. Looks like some people should consider if anime is really for them lol. |
| I have a friend who does that. Like he can skip entire episodes of an anime because they're "too boring" but then call it a 10/10 and i just can't relate to this. I always want the full experience so i can have a honest opinion so if i like an anime that i don't drop i'll watch everything even if it means giving it an 8 instead of a 9 or 10. |

| I usually never skip any seconds of episode 1 from every anime. To see whether I like the OP/ED or not. If I like it, I'll watch it. If not, then I'll definitely skip it. But I don't think I skip any seconds of the episode's story though.. |
