Is this going to be a boy's love anime?

So the synopsis is really interesting but on the genre it says shounen ai, it wasn't some kind of mistake, is it?

I was supposed to put it on my plan to watch, but is there some boy's love involve? because it's not my type of anime

If it's like Ling Qi, the BL aspect of the anime will be just a detail, not the main focus.

I'd say you should give it a try. If the BL scenes bother you too much you can just drop it, but if the summary calls your attention you should try watching it I guess.

it's based off a BL novel (https://www.novelupdates.com/series/2013/) so it'll probably have hints at the very least

Though like Spiritpact it would possibly show, say kissing but under different circumstances as a way to bypass the draconian laws. "See, they're kissing but it's to share power and they're close to one another and hugging because they're friends."

That's if it is like that, the brief entry on this site is all I've heard of this series, does anyone know who made the entry here and if they could elaborate on it?

I've watched up to episode 14 and so far all traces of shounen ai have been wiped, there isn't even much touching or hugging left so it's fine for those who don't like shounen ai.

If you do like it, and can read Chinese, I suggest picking up the book instead, it's much better and the main couple (they are ex-boyfriends who still love each other and grow close again over the course of the novel) are adorable.
