P.A. works already had material for season 2. but because Director of this series (Tsutomu Mizushima) had very full schedule, they didn't want to take a risk, made a sequel with different director. So, with this annoucement and we will have same director, i am glad and i want to see more about our 5 main character |

| I literally have never been more excited for an anime in my life. This is going on my favourites list before it even releases. OG director with PA Works? OG character designers, OG producer, OG script writer!!??!! All the original staff!!!?!?!? I CANNOT BE MORE HYPED, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Here's hoping Sentai gets its shit together and rereleases the original show with a proper box set (and a dub would be nice) to go with the movie when it comes out! |

| I did write "And yet I dream sometimes that those five girls will grace my screen again" on my admittedly way overdramatic review(not really a review but a writeup tbh) of Shirobako, but I'm surprisingly not that hyped. I'm usually not that good with sequels but I do get hyped about a lot of them, not that much this time. Especially when it's a film; not sure what they can actually do in the space of 2 hours. The 2 cours for the TVA were barely enough. Can't think of an interesting enough plot in Shirobako that could be done in a film timeframe, any ideas? |
| Super excited for this but unfortunately, it will probably be a long time before we get the actual release date. I would say 2020 may be possible. I really miss this series tbh. |

| I expect (and hope) pretty much the same as the original was. That means being a great comedy/drama with excellent production values and absolutely adorable characters. Gosh how much do I wanna see our main 5 in action again! |

| awesome - was so glad to hear Shirobako was getting something even just an OVA but a full movie nice o/ Hopefully this will lead to a full sequel season to get our girls to finally get their anime made in proper fashion :3 |

| Shirobako is my favourite "anime-centric" anime next to Genshiken, so I'm pretty excited. I'm just hoping it can be brought to the rest of the world quickly. |
| This show is in my top list of anime (I wont say top ten because that changes minute to minute sometimes) and I can not wait to see more of it! Its a go to anime for me when introducing people to the medium. |

| It’s been a while since I have finished the first season of the show, and I must say that I’m absolutely hyped for this sequel movie! I just love the whole cast of characters and the premise of the show really. Here’s to hoping the movie will at least be as good as the first season, and better if possible. |
