| This was better than the first episode, mainly thanks to the many funny moments. Sugimoto and Shiraishi panicking to start a fire was excellent! =D Asirpa was also doing a great job at being cute, especially her smile. ^_^ The art and animation was decent, although there were parts where it looked a little choppy at times. Geno Studio is new, after all, so I guess these sort of hiccups on a tight budget are expected. Still, the close-up shots of the characters looked good, so I'm happy with that for now. =) The OP animation was a great match for the song, with the ED song being decent too. I'm satisfied. |

| I now know a lot about the process of skinning and preparing squirrels to eat... I hope that's something I'll never have to use in my life. Also Hypothermia... that part was freaking great. |

| Pretty solid so far. Never read the manga, but this seems like it's going to be a good anime to keep up with. I really like the dynamic between the two MCs, and I do like the simplistic approach from the anime about having to hunt down people in order to collect pieces to a bigger treasure. Very simple, but it's coming together well so far. Asirpa is smart and knows how to survive. The things she does are also funny. She was disappointed she couldn't eat the rabbit right away ha. Saichi seems honorable, yet deadly. I like that a lot about him. |

| I see that somebody tried the Yuru Camp "iyashikei anime" approach in narration on a plot-driven action anime, and has done... relatively well, to an extend. Good job. Especially how they handle the squirrel scene, and the citatap scene, and ofc the hypothermia scene (no way you can mess that up, that scene is gold =D) |
| I think I'm the only one who doesn't like the OP. The episode was quite erratic with its tone and pacing (one minute we're learning how to cook squirrels, the next not-Lupin-the-Third and Sugimoto are trying to escape death, in a humorous manner) so I'll give it one more episode too see where it goes. |

| Feels rather rushed even without trying the manga, and the visuals are, well, unfortunate. Helps when the content is interesting. I like the comedy too. |
| People complaining about poor animation need to realise that animation is only slightly part of the story. If you don't like the animation, go read the manga. |

| The episode was better than the last one and the chemistry of Asiripa and Sugimoto had gotten better and the part with the squirrel hunt was interesting but there were still some wtf scenes in there like when they left the camp with the prisoner unguarded or when it was shown that Tsurumi-chuui survived the hit of his head (like really?) and his subsequent fall into river which took him into the village (which invalidated whole that would be funny scene when Sugimoto and Yoshitake were telling us they only have 10 minutes to prevent hypothermia). And I still don't like his tsukkomi Immortal Tsugimoto shout. The series has some potential, that's for sure, but slipping into usual shounen tropes (like all those antagonists he needs to defeat and such) doesn't help much. Let's hope they won't dabble much into that. |

| That was a pretty good episode, the op and ed is fantastic though. And once again Asirpa and Sugimoto were very entertaining and we got introduced to even more good characters. Hinna hinna. |

| The hunt for the gold treasures continued. Sugimoto together with his partners came to the bigger city at Hokkaido to continued tracing the remaining prisoners. A lot of development happened, some bonding moment between the two MCs already grew some intrigueing situations, and Sugimoto revealed his wrecked body, which was means he was surely a trained soldier on that era, a pretty logic revelations beyond the big scheme of bs that happened at his battle previously. Its got a good clearance on these one. Nice! My Kenjirou man had a nice character, there. He revealed himself after stalking our MC at the previous episode. Another soldier which was having some unique personality that typically pointed out as Kenjirou's character. Good! However, the result kinda anticlimactic. He survived that shit and succeeded to ran away. The reason still unclear, but surely its must be related to the current gold hunt that happened on this series. I hope those twos had a better relations in the near future. Anui girl, showed her skill at cooking, and dumped a good knowledge referring her to be a good woman in the future. She already showed some cute moment and told Sugimoto a cute thing. She was adorable at that time, and her happiness while catching up that bunny really grew my feeling to liking her characteristic. If only everything just turned out to be that chilling moments at the rest of the episode, that was wrong. Another prisoner began to flew away. His flexibility kinda weird, but his nicknames was not just a figments. His action with Sugimoto had a funny moments, its good to have some chilling, not just everyday intensified momentary. And yeah, another revelations, the place where they were designed to be united, the names of their 'boss' that made their tattoo, the other villains, already established at this episode. Surely the nervous feels so intensified while the duration still had some moments. Lets see the next one to knowing what was goin on after those information intacted. |

| OP is in english, well mostly. Liked it too. And hey they going for humor even in the most unlikely conditions lol. Also i'll pretend I didn't see Sugimoto and Asirpa eating squirrel's raw brain and even appreciating it. |
