When I sometimes read manga there's always that one part in the chapter that confuses tf out of me. Like when there's 14 panels all over one page in a weird order or when it transitions into another scene, but it looks like the last scene. Are there are any cues in manga that say how to do it.

Right to left

Top to bottom

Make sure you're not holding your Japanese anime book upside down that's the trickiest part.

This, also you can just re read or slow down when reading it until you understand.

Like the above two users said. You read the panels right to left, top to bottom.

Also, take your time and absorb what's happening instead of just mindlessly flicking pages. The pace you read a manga at is probably what's affecting your inability to understand the story better.

Recommend me some short Manga!

Go slower and pay attention to dialogue and what's happening. If you notice that it doesn't make sense then you're just scanning it, not reading it.

Just reading like you otherwise would. Sometimes there are some spread pages with panels placed a little all over the place, but applying common sense makes it nothing particularly challenging.

One tip I also recommend is make sure the manga you read isn't flipped. I was reading Battle Angel Alita and the version I was reading was flipped so it was left to right. Just make sure that it isn't.

I have not seen people talk about this, but I tend to read narration first (usually text is on squares in courners of page) It feels easier that way. Also if reading online I recommend binding ctrl to some mouse button for easy zooming on doublepages Ctrl+scrollwheel
