| When it comes to animation quality, Chinese animation is inferior, even a crappy Japanese studio like Toei Animation is better in my opinion. You often see reused cutscenes, recycled frames, and inconsistency. Quanzhi Fashi and Gin no Guardian are examples of poor work. However, The King's Avatar is good. |

| Only Chinese anime I've seen is King's Avatar, the animation quality is also really good, only prob is that its a little too good that they have to recycle action sequences since it costs a lot of money to produce them. |

| They're usually really cheap studios that lack a lot of basics about the job. Shiyan Pin Jiating is one of the latest anime from a chinese studio, and it lacks a lot of basics about design inconsistency and how to manage frames. Like I said in the discussion for episode 1, there was a scene that was like 15 seconds and 3-4 frames of animation. It wasn't really a sight to behold. |

| I still haven't seen Chinese anime but I think it is a good thing. I like the idea of different cultures making more and more their animation. It means that we might see some new ideas, stories, settings, art styles, etc. I don't expect that they will make great things immediately but in time, as they get experience and more talent comes into their industry, masterpieces surely will appear. |

| I don't have a problem with it as long as they produce quality stuff. And yes, quality has been inconsistent lately but they are just starting out. I'm reserving final judgement for when they have had a chance to find their footing. Personal Note: Funny how Netflix gets a warm reaction but China gets vitriol. |
