DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- As silly as the series seems at times, it definitely still has a competitive energy on the field. Being a pitcher really is a tough position. Also, I'm curious to see what direction they'll do with the money gimmick in the show. Feels silly but also important to give teams a motivation to win. |

| Honda is relying way too much on salary and statistics when it comes to his opponents. But the theory regarding how his psyche is working during the pitches was lol worthy. |

| I don't care for Baseball in the slightest but I still find this series interesting because it gives off a more mature and real world vibe, in the real world players aren't all bishi boys and don't have secret abilities and play for friendship but instead alot of them look like average blokes and play to fatten up their bank accounts and to make a living. Explains the 5.7 score after episode 2, alot of anime viewers are teenagers who are yet to experience the hardships of the real world and the true value of money, I don't blame them for scoring it harshly considering they don't know how mundane life truly is. I did prefer episode 1 but this gave us a good starting point for Bonta to overcome his huge weakness, looking forward to how he overcomes it if he does at all. |
| I've been a baseball fan for nearly all my life. Bull Durham is one of my favorite movies. Getting to take a ride inside the head of a player who isn't one of the best of the best is very entertaining. This episode had me smiling from start to finish. |

| Bonda is even having trouble facing against an opponent that has the exact salary as him! lolz Bonda needs to step-up and not always compare how much they earn... 4/5. |

| A lot of exposure of the technicalities of baseball here. Bonda's psychology of evaluating players works against him at times it seems. Good to see that Akira got the win here, though Bonda nearly had it rough at the end there. |

| This series isn't really anything normally up my alley at all, but I'm liking it a lot for the mature tone it has, can't quite explain it really. |

| another good ep, but wow on the hate though on this series but only reason i can see as to why people dont like it is because this series is super normal compared to others but even though i do love other sport series for its actions and such i am loving this so far because of the change of pace anyway on to the next ep |
