I don't think the anime has talked about the whole boxing exoskeleton thing yet. If I had to guess it's just the 'new' take on traditional boxing. Higher stakes, higher danger, more entertainment. Just how humans are, people (generally speaking) have used violence as entertainment since likely before we even began documenting our history. |

| So far, the only thing I'm disliking is the excessive use of still scenery shots. And I finally remembered what the ending song reminded me of, FMAB's 3rd OP. Similar beats near the end of both TV versions. |
| Only comment I have on this episode: I swear, at that one part where the music started to come in, I almost thought they were going to staight up play some “Slim Shady” because of the scratch sounds at the beginning of both pieces. But amazing episode with lots of buildup! |

| Joe... He's back! This keeps getting better, I really did not expect Megalo Box to be this good. Now Joe is fated to fight Yuri. By mere chance they paths will cross in the ring once again, that's something to look forward. However, Joe still has a lot to grow physically and mentally in order to be able to go toe to toe with the champion. Yet another great episode and sound. |

| i was waiting for this episode since the first one got my interest. it's the first anime about box that i've seen. you're right, the music is really catchy. i'm kinda sad because i expected "joe" to win that fight but i guess he needs more experience. that last punch seemed to hurt a lot.. i'm surprised he didn't require medical help. and he is finally entering megalonia... i'm happy because his dream is to fight that guy again, but his "boss" because i think that's what he is only uses him to pay his arrearage. the only thing that annoyed me until now is that there is too much blood for once scratch. like when Nanbu slammed his head against the table wtf was that blood??? and i just realised in this episode that he doesn't have an eye... and i think i know why. well, that life sure isn't pink. |

| I haven't even watch ashita no joe and the ending of episode 2 still got me extremely hyped like I had been a longtime fan. if thats not proof that this show is doing something right i dont know what is. |

| I never watched Ashita no Joe but god damn, this anime makes me wanna drop everything and just watch it. The backgrounds are on point, the quality is fantastic and the story pretty enjoyable, I think we have ourselves the king of this season. I hope that they deliver in the next episodes, really looking forward to them |

| They jumped the shark by throwing in too many cliches with very bad pacing. Here I thought the story would be a match between a classic boxer with high technical expertise and a technologically superior boxer who excelled with these new fangled armnants. Instead it was shit. He got beat down hard and then went back on his motorcycle. Very boring very bad |

| I just love how this show has thick lines and hard edges rather than being really clean and glossy like a lot of shows nowadays. I like those shows too, don't get me wrong, but pretty much this artstyle works perfectly in a day and age where it is one that is rarely used |
