| [watched it in English dub since I adore the first seasons dub] Recently re-watched the first series, and I gotta say this first ep left much to be desired for me. The characters didn't feel the same, Okabe being depressed wasn't great, and it didn't have the same "bang" that the pilot of the first series had. I hope it improves. |

| finally, have time to watch this anime... and it is really good for 1st episode... is good to see Okabe and the gang back in action. We get to see all the original cast in this episode which is nice... the face, voice are still the same. But for the female characters... ohohoho the Tuturu ... *Chef Kiss* and we get to see new character too, we get to see Yuki, who's gonna be Daru's wife (still jealous of it... lol), the legal loli researcher... damn oh Faris-chan outfit straight from the fighting game... lol |

| That's a whole lot to swallow for this first episode of this season, especially after 3 years! Really lovely to see this to actually continue, but the setting is already put in place quite dark and dramatic! So well I really do look forwards to see what this season has to offer to be honest! |

| Time to experience this imperfect worldline, an alternative to the OG Steins: Gate... There's always a sadness within Okabe's eyes. Him killing Kurisu gave him a permanent PTSD and depression... Whoa! I love the fashion change! Okabe's all-black outfit is sleek! Suzuha has been living with Daru all this time!? I wonder how their daily life goes... I'm saddened to see Okabe having these horrible flashbacks and having to take anti-depressant pills... Legal loli ftw lol XD |

| So this is where Missing Link lead to, Okabe not going back into time because this timeline didn't happen in the right order yet. - This is most likely the timeline that eventually made it so he would send back a message to Okabe at this time that made him change his mind ... and make him reach the Steins;Gate. Amadeus huh, I'm sure they don't just have Maho's memories uploaded but probably Kurisu's aswell. Also Suzuha talking about how her mother died in the future ... jeez. Really good start though. |

| Okabe is not the mad scientist anymore. He even wears a black coat now instead of a white coat. And lol at that seminar conference, the professor and the interpreter were both talking at the same time, I'll be surprised if the audience didn't get confused. |

| Looking back, I'm not sure why I hated this right off so much. Probably the bad taste of the movie and feeling hopeless about the direction of this series. He never meets red again or gets with her...I'm a romantic so I constantly want that. And yet it's so nice to have all the characters back and it's really cool that we're continuing where we left off somewhat. You just want him and red to be together...I don't know, I just don't want the guy to be lonely. The thought of him going through all that and getting nothing for it but grief breaks my heart a little. Perfect COVID series though, complete despair, hopelessness and apocalypse. |

| A depressed okabe, no kurisu, no fun conversations (except daru..) Well seems like he has a hard life in this world line where he couldnt save Kurisu, he ends up going to college. Meets a loli-like girl who introduces us to Kurisu's work; AI with emotions And damn Moeka is in this world line; probably a normal college girl. I personally don't like where this is going but it's interesting. |

| A fresh start. I already lower my expectations ever since I personally don't enjoy 23ß and the narrative it's going. Still, the animation style and the calm, surrealist atmosphere are something that never changed. Seeing a quiet Okabe in a black coat is a different breed. I miss the time when he was still dressed lab coat, screaming "Mad scientist" and speaking random unrelated things. My man has gone through a lot... I like the way they depicted the flashback of Kurisu and Okabe's internal selves. The concept of new time traveling, the theory about AI and the threat from WWIII seem promising. Hiyajou seems to be an interesting character so I hope they won't waste the potential and executed well in the future event. |

| Did they change Yuki? She looks different then when she first appeared in one of the ovas. And then the back story was she was a cosplayer they daru met on a message board. But now she was mayuris cosplay friend. I mean I guess it can be chalked up to different world lines but I thought they had to be somewhat similar situations. Also I can't remember but in this timeline moeka hasn't been introduced yet I think so what she's doing so far is unknown but most likely still with FB. |
