Without reading the TG manga first, this season won't make any sense to anime-only watchers!
They are ignoring the previous 2 seasons and adapt only the :re manga.
There will be a lot of stuff ahead that you guys won't understand just by watching the anime.

For those who have read the manga, I would say it is pretty decent so far. On the other hand, for anime only viewers, it is perfectly normal to feel loss.

First season skipped some information, Route A was literally total non-cannon nonsense. It wasn't even an adaptation.
FOR ANIME ONLY VIEWERS: DON'T FEEL BAD THAT YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON. ROUTE A IS AT FAULT . They literally removed 1/3rd of entire story and replaced with something unrelated.

Yes i came back from the year 2082. I do live in china and i can tell you that season 3 was very bad. China cooperated with Trump to invade Japan.
They tried to cover up season 2 and 3 but they just couldnt. The black hole it created did force the guys at CERN to recreate a big bang using the paint of the original manga. Unforunately this resulted in a black hole direcly leading to japans underground where kim jong un developed some secret plans to stop the worlds financial crisis wich was caused by studio perriot because they had to use too many papers to redraw every single scene over and over again. Of course putin was not very pleased by that so he created putcoin miners and now since studio perriot is working hard in the forest to plant new trees the world is slowly going back to its normal state again.

TL;DR you can not judge a book by its cover.
Weve seen 2/12 episodes for the first seaon of :re. And more than likely there will be a 2nd season.
The story makes sense, fuck root A. The animation isnt that great but im fine with it. So yes i will watch it. Will i praise it? Most likely not.

oh and what the other guys said actually makes sense aswell.

I'm enjoying it so far but we're only 2 episodes in and nothing has really happened just yet.

I feel very sorry for the anime-only watchers, though. The animation is pretty average too.

I would say that it's pretty terrible so far. The first episode was very rushed, with the OP spoiling future episodes and character reveals. And while the second episode had better pacing, the censoring and lack of details were beyond noticeable.
Tbh I feel bad for the anime-only viewers, they're gonna eat this shit up like a delicious five-star meal, when (as far as I can tell from the two episodes that have been released so far) it's gonna be yet another soulless anime adaptation by Pierrot. It's pretty sad.

I think season 3 is amazing. I got some spoilers so I could understand what happened in season 3. Glad to see that season 3 follows the manga unlike root A.
I like how the episodes are fast paced too. Atleast I know what is going on in season 3.

This season is 4/10.
All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. Our strength shall serve as a luminous sun toward which all intelligence may blossom. And the impervious shelter beneath which you will prosper. However, for those who refuse our offer and cling to their western animation ways… For you, there will be great wrath.

The manga is another story, but this anime is really bad, like, really really bad and doesn't make any sense at all, at least for anime only's. It's a great promotion for the manga and that's it, if you're an anime only watcher, why are you even watching this, it makes 0 sense.

I think the story became a huge trainwreck after the Rue Island arc (don't want to spoil here) and actually it feels pretty Shounen esque with dead characters returning, Talk no Jutsu being used and the overall power scale getting ridiculous

It's not been good, it's just another bad adaptation.
I really don't get why they kept the same Script/Screenplay/Series Composition guy for this series. That he has NOTHING else to his name shows the rest of the anime business know he sucks, so why are they still using him, it's really odd.

I mean I liked S1 even though it was very fast paced and skipped a lot of content, Season 2 was dreadful because of several reasons, not just because they decided to make a separate route from the manga but more because of the execution.

I'm enjoying S3 so far a lot, it's fast paced but I'm getting the scenes I've been waiting for years animated.

Manga is in its final arc so half the chapters here and another season with the ending so many scenes were cut out by next season you won't understand why some of the characters are like that

The only thing I do not like about it is an already fixed episode count. There is just so much more to present and contemplate about, but can they do it all in 8 more episodes? Stay tuned.

It's not only the animation is bad. The soundtrack far inferior, the directing is horrible, and the story is just boring. Everything that this show tried to do is just bad. Maybe there are a lot of people enjoying because they're enjoying the manga right now, and it's cool to look back and see how the story was, but the anime is bad anyway

It's currently better than Season 2, but having read the manga to an extent I know it will not be good overall. Hopefully being animated will fix the nearly illegible fight scenes and make it more enjoyable. I could also see it being confusing if you have only seen the show as the show cuts out
