| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Eh, it's a dark show and the OP song has that edgy feel to it. At least they seemed to get the main guy's personality right so far based on the manga. I'm not really impressed by the vampire gimmicks in the show. However, I will say the show is able to handle the dark grimmer atmosphere right so far. The animation quality also seems decent for this particular studio (I personally think one of their previous work "Servamp" is pretty mediocre) The fated encounter between the two main characters so far felt kinda meh though. Hope this improves. |

| Hmm, animation isn't terrible, pretty decent motion and I didn't see any CG thankfully. Character design seems a little odd in spots, treading the line between a CLAMP series and Death Note, but I guess I don't really mind it too much. The first half started off pretty generic, mostly feeling like a cheap version of Devilman Crybaby meets Tokyo Ghoul, but the second half made up for it a bit, as I thought the plot twist was fairly interesting and I didn't see it coming: Anyway, Not sure I'll keep up with this every week, but I'll at least give the next episode a whirl in a week. |

| Quite good start. Don't worry, manga gets better with each chapter. On the note, art is too dark, I think. And, well, well, I have to praise BGM. Same goes for OP/ED. Animation is rather meh but it works. Hm, I dunno about audio. Sometimes it was like it came from the other side and I dunno if it was intentional (HIDIVE is a really bad stream, so they might just encoded it wrong). |
| If i told the truth, this first episode was very common if compare with other anime series that i watched...... i didn´t feel some special, also the animation style, poor, not bad (it´s very different) not helped much .....but there were elements that i liked, how the characters, Tsukasa character i liked it too much and the OP, i liked too the rhythm!!! Well, the most important is not how to start, if not how to evolve, and I hope the next week more action, or a turn, dramatic turn!!! kekeke |
| As a Big fan of the manga I really hope they nail what is too come. I mean the first episode was pretty solid, and they did make some changes which I didn't agree with but I guess they had to fill out the time for a normal episode. Will be watching weekly. |
| The show uses a lot of artistic ways to show the horror part of the series. Anyway I think it was a good start to this series, I like these kinds of protagonists and I like how they present horror here. The action is extremely fast, sometimes it looks weird to me but it also oppositely looks great. The opening is pretty good in my opinion, the ending too. Surprisingly the soundtrack has a more emotional touch to it than the intense touch I thought it would have. 4.5/5 From my experiences these dark shows tend to get really messy and bad as they go on, I don't think this is the case for devil's Line, or at least I hope it isn't. |

| Well,that escalated quickly,wonder what that guy would do to her when she gets her period. It was ok,nothing that would usually interest me,but I will give this some more episodes. |

| The very beginning's animation was great but after the opening it was just mediocre. The chasing scene was also very strange, i know they are supposed to be fast but that felt like a bad 60fp scene. For the first episode, i must say i prefer it as in the manga rather in the anime. I hope the animation gets better but that is probably not gonna happen.. as for the story i know it gets better later on so yeah :'> |

| I dont know what to say, there wasn't nothing to spotlight, maybe the chase was the best moment. Animation isn't that bad. That ending wasn't surprising that he was a vampire tbh |

| I feel like the anime stretched things out too much. I also find the main girl annoying for some reason, even though i didn't feel that way at all reading the manga ┐(´ｰ｀)┌ I'll see how they handle episode 2 before i consider dropping this since it has potential to handle things better next time~ |
| That was bad, but enjoyably bad. The animation... it just sucks. I don't like how the characters look and the vampire looked so stupid when he ran. | I don’t know what to say about this first episode. It was pretty bad but at the same time it had some interesting and surprising twists. Well, I guess I will keep watching to see where this is going. |

| Didnt hate it. It had some weird moments tho like scenes moving fucking fast then goes back normal then going fast as fuck again. That fucked me up for a moment. Also i like the OP and ED. |

| Lol the way they were running during the chase scene looked weird and funny at the same time. Honestly, this didn't feel like anything too special tbh. I thought it was pretty predictable that Akimura would be a vampire, as well as the guy who saved the main girl. And wtf was that ending? I don't expect this to be good but I'll keep watching to see where it goes. |

| Ehhh still on the fence about this one. I need to watch more episodes to judge this one. It seems like its gonna be less action and more drama? more romance? Also sorry studio but it was obvious as HELL that he was a vampire himself, so your attempt at surprise or tension failed Characters design wise its fine, i especially like her friend's design, those eyes o.o OP is the best thing about this anime so far and yes liek someone said animation is not that great >_< |

| The opening theme was pretty good, but it seems everyone's feeling pretty on the fence about this show so far. The action in the beginning felt way too fast but other than that I felt the animation wasn't as bad as it could have been. What was up with that ending...?? It has an interesting premise though and I think it could turn out well if executed correctly. I might just read the manga if this anime doesn't turn out since it seems to be the census that the manga is better at the moment. As for pacing I didn't feel this episode had any issues with aside from it feeling a little slow/drawn out. |

| Not bad for a first ep. It was nice to see the characters doing things that weren't shown in the manga. The pacing feels a bit too slow though, hopefully it picks up. They better make up for that in the next ep. |
