| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It was okay. A show about baseball although the MC so far doesn't have my interest yet. The OP song does though with that style (especially the sequence with the money lol) Seems this show will contain a lot of competition although I see it more as a lighthearted way. The baseball gimmick for the players seems like it can work well for this show. Felt like the series has some potential. The animation quality is so-so. That ED theme song is so charming! Everything else needs improvement imo. |

| Another sports series for this season (Megalo and Tsubasa), and it was the worst of the 3 but how i like it, i will watch it!!!! kekekke The first episode without surprises, full of dreams, adult dreams, but this humour tone and all it will depend on how to evolve and the way that he will take because the base is here in the first episode, but now how will end is the question!? The animation style/quality was poor and a little worse! Bad, very bad "boy"!!! kekeke |
 CGI even in the OP Studio Deen at it's best with dem production values again Anyway,now about the series. This is the first time I'm seeing a sports anime where the MC is solely focussed on money and doesn't show any interest in the sport. Curious to see how this goes on. |

| Could have been better. The CGI was pretty ugly and him repeating non-stop the same thing about the money buried under the pitch started to get annoying at the end. Still found some enjoyment from it but with all the stuff going on this season, i dont know if ill keep going. 3-episode rule: [ON] - OFF |

| It seems like this particular baseball anime will focus less on the playing of the sport and more on aspects surrounding it. I guess that could be a reason why the 3D pops up in places I think it shouldn't. The first episode was okay, nothing amazing or anything like that. |

| Wow, the animation is bad but I think I will get used to it. I like the story though and how it focuses on different stuffs (especially the salary, hahahah) revolving baseball. This is quite unique so I will give this a try. |
| Well, the animation in this seems kind of middling. Especially after seeing something as impressive as Megalo Box yesterday. Still, I'm liking the carefree vibe of the show, and the characters are fun so far, and they've all got nice character designs. So far it seems like a nice little slice-of-life sports show I can watch with my morning coffee. :) |

| Quite an interesting main character. The fact that his focus on how much he makes, makes it more interesting. It is an different take on motivation rather than the 'usual love for the game' motive. The fact that it still drives him to be a better baseball player can potentially be fun to watch. The commentator friend just seemed to be a rehash of the main character with a different job however and I hope they change him up or add more interesting characters in the future tho. |

| Alright, the CG is so out of place and makes it awkward, always hate it when they mix 2D with CG.... anyways, other than that I really liked the ep but like some have said before it's like doomed to fail cuz there are no bishounen characters LOL Looking forward to the next episode! |

| interesting it is, entertaining it isn't i'll give props for the sports mc deviating from the bishounen norm, but can't say anything else was worthwhile. |

| I actually had a blast with this. It's has components from some of my fave baseball anime and it's set in adult life which is a bonus. MC is funny and interesting to me. I like ordinary characters with flaws and hopes and dreams. |
| It was okay. I like the fact that these shows with an older aesthetic - goofier, caricature-like designs are seeing the rise in remakes of older shows and now this comes around with that older look when it comes to its character designs and I like that. I do also like the fact that this story brings up realistic thoughts and fears of a pro player, instead of how most protagonists and characters within sports stories just wanna get good and be pro players with no backup plans or anything like that. I will also give it props for having a really fun OP that I had to relisten to a few times just because I liked it that much. However, the characters themselves weren't very interesting and it's kinda hard to get invested when we get very little time within the sport itself. I can see how this would have appeal to people who are interested in the more analytical side of a sport rather than a more shonen-esque focus on the thrill and excitement that a player may feel, but it's not that interesting to me. I'm probably gonna keep watching it, mainly because I don't want to drop many more anime, but I'm not expecting much out of this. |

| However big a baseball and yakyuu fan I am (I know basically all the players of every MLB and NPB team, stats and all ;)), I must say that this episode was highly uninteresting... Why not making a season 3 for Oofuri - probably the best sports anime ever - instead ? |

| I like the theme of this anime, the struggle of pro players to earn enough for the future, but I don't like the way it is narrated. I also don't like the voice of the main character and the music (both the ost and the opening, while the ending wasn't bad). I hope it will get better |

| A baseball anime without screaming boys, wow. The mature view of the baseball world is really interesting. Somehow remembers me of Uchuu Kyoudai. And whats up with the girl in the ending? |
| That was interesting, seeing how pro athlete think about their life and their job. the CGI doesn't bother me at all because well you dont watch anime like this and expect sakuga animation. feels like an anime for your everyday straight guy in their 25s-45s who aren't actually into anime in general. I often keep hearing some of my normal/generic/non-anime fan/straight guy friend talk about this side of sports like salary and retirement and stuff like that and they don't care if the athlete is a hot guy or not so yeah maybe they won't have a problem with this anime. Not me tho. I want my athlete MC looks as sexy as the MC in megalobox lol |
| As a baseball fan this was really interesting. As an anime fan I would have liked to have seen more animation (rather than CGI and still shots) and a bit less exposition. Definitely a unique take on the genre. |
| Really enjoyed this one. Was interesting to have an MC who’s only in it for the money. The commentator’s half of the episode was the best imo. |

| A baseball show that focuses more on life outside than the inside of it. I'd say it is pretty interesting. Natsunoke is a goofy character and not an stereotypical strong-guy or an underdog which makes him exciting. He really is turned on by money though, lol. It was pretty satisfying to see him and Toku-chan succeed after a gritty night. Also, why are there two episode titles for a single episode?! |

| was actually pretty good imo, not to mention the music is really good especially the op and ed lets see how things goes also gotta say i like the mc as he is different from the norm which is a plus for me |
