Look it is a shame you dropped but for the record this season covered the weakest part of the story from here on out, it will get better, darker (like almost berserk lvl type dark) and more political. At the very least since you watched s2 try the first ep of s3 and if u still dont like it than fine leave it at that ok. |

| I kind of wish they'd have waited a year or so because it makes the wait for possible successive seasons longer. Hopefully they skip volume 8 this season and do it as an OVA or something. Volumes 7, 9, and 10 would be better suited. I'm happy overall though. The series weakest novels imo are 4, 5, 7, and 8, but from volumes 9 on it's crazy good. It's nice to have more Overlord regardless. Having a group of nonhuman, OP villain protagonists in a fantasy setting is refreshing. |
but its right up your edgeiest of edge lord tragic deaths alley especially this season with the tomb invasion arc. @Darklight0303 for me the series is ok although it does tend to go to much on the edgelord cringe fest at times. |

| Just to inform so you won't be disappointed, those who didn't like S2 will probaby won't like S3 again because it's the same formula. So don't keep your hopes up if you didn't like S2 because of it's lack of action, MC screentime, etc. First arc of the S3 will start weak again. Yes, the later arc will be epic and glorious but there will probably be like 4-5 "boring" build up episodes until we reach that. |

| That was fast! considering from season 1 to 2 they took 3 years. Not complaining one bit here, just odd that we're just a few months away lol and rather, unusual from a studio like Madhouse being famous for not doing sequels. |
