The thing with abandoned tunnels is that just because no one goes there anymore doesn't meant thats its empty lol. Hmm Boruto's birthday huh. Can't be helped that Naruto can't be home i guess. The threat that was discussed back at the kage summit sure has them worried. Their mission sure changed though from bandit hunting to investigation. Judging from the markings on the rock looks like they stumbled on to one of the ruins that the kage are searching for. To think that the beast in question will be white zetsu though.

I know that I am a couple weeks late, but as far as I can see, so far, no one had mention what that metallic ball is, to me it looks like something similar to something else in another anime. As to what I think it might be, maybe it is similar to a pokemon ball. It has about the same size, shape and it looks like it have a button on it.

What do you guys think?

Naruto not using his shadow clones at all for any of his mountain of paper work OR to see his family at home is such an awful contrived way to give Boruto daddy issues

Using shadow clones involves a certain level of concentration. Plus, it's probably not a good image for a Hokage to spend time away from his desk since there may be issues that may need his immediate attention.
