Does anyone know if volume 12 is the last one?

Will the story end with volume 12?

I hope the novel reach many more volume like DXD

Yes. Volume 12 is the last Volume of the main story. There will be a Jin spinoff Novel though, so its not over yet.

As of March 2021, not yet, but I'm sure Departures would never have been released if there wasn't going to be a season 3. Departures seemed to me to be a teaser dump of story elements the producers wanted but couldn't fit into the limited season schedule. Haven't seen any news or press releases come through MAL on the future of New Testiment, but hopefully they are using their time wisely to give us the huge finish we are all hoping for.
