| If you have been Watching Pop Team Epic you may know about the recurring gag of Hoshiiro Girldrop. At first it was a "Lol you entered the wrong anime" kind of joke in the first episode but it has been recurring and it has been used at least once a week since then. After every episode of PTE we get a Next episode preview for Hoshiiro Girldrop. After seeing all those previews I Want to Watch Hoshiiro Girldrop or atleast something Similar. Does anyone know of a Similar anime?? I Don't care that it is generic as Fuck I WANT TO WATCH IT!!!! WRYYYYYYYYYYYY |

HOW DOES IDOLMASTER BEAT L.L?? I Have Already Watched some stuff on that list. The One That Looks like Hoshiiro the most is Aikatsu but I Doubt it has the Dark twist Hoshiiro seems to Have. It's also kinda long so I Don't think I Will Watch It Soon (I Put it in my PTW Though) |

| Hmmmm... I'm afraid HG's plot twist may be entirely unique to the genre, but there are some anime that delve into the seedy nature of idol culture. There is a rather interesting discussion about these anime here: https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/4cgz31/are_there_any_shows_that_shows_off_how_terrible/ Now this probably won't help you at all, but you may find it interesting to know that there is a manga anthology based solely on HG. To my knowledge, it remains solely in the HG universe and isn't a troll.
