| I wouldn't say that I feel shame, no, but sometimes I am annoyed at myself if I go overboard and watch the entire weekend. But I am telling myself it's ok, because soon won't be able to do it, so might as well enjoy it while I can. There is nothing to be ashamed of, it's no different than watching a series/movie with real actors, if you are not ashamed of that, I don't see why you would be ashamed of watching anime. If you are watching shit, of course you feel shame, but same would be for watching a shit Tv show, or a shit book, no? |

I think a lot of a families hold on to stuff that virtually doesn't matter whatsoever nowadays (own family likes to exclude us out of everything because of stuff that happened over 10 years ago??). When did this happen? 4 years ago? Don't stay mad at someone because your son was watching an R-rated anime about half a decade ago. It was that person's choice to watch High School DxD. Just maybe, when your friend gives you an anime like DxD, and you choose to watch it, do not invite your little brother to watch it on TV at full volume. From my own experience (this could be a poor assumption), I think that many people take anime *too* seriously for some reason. |
