| He just straight up gouged the eye out.. dude Chise's a human have a bit modesty please. Apart from that, such a good episode with that well crafted backstory part. Chise made up with her mom who wasn't as antagonistic as we were given the impression this whole time. Though one thing still bugging me, why her dad left in the first place? Was it something about debt or has to do with something completely out of the place? Anyways beat the kid now. |

| I know that there's most likely a reason why the father left Chise and her mother that night but honestly I can't think clearly at the moment because leaving secretly at night, leaving a wife with a very young daughter alone in a house where he knows many evil spirits surround them is something only a bastard would do. If the reason is something "good" or "positive" then it doesn't make sense to me because leaving two members of his family who he knows have weak bodies alone is just stupid, and if the reason is because he's tired and scared then there's no need to explain further, he is the real villain. If Chise hadn't woken up that night then they really wouldn't have any idea what happened to the father (why he suddenly disappeared in the morning). |

| I’m glad Chise has finally able to get in terms with her past and ready to move on, but still makes me wonder about his father’s whereabouts and reasons. Next chapter we will see about Elias and I’m quite curious how the end will be handled. |
