 Late night anime programming block noitaminA revealed its lineup for years 2018-2019, titled Plus Ultra, during a live event stream on Thursday. The program announced broadcast information regarding their upcoming shows, details regarding the previously announced Koutetsujou no Kabaneri anime, and a slate of new anime.  Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii (Spring 2018)It was announced that the TV anime adaptation of Fujita's romantic comedy manga by A-1 Pictures will air on April 13, 2018 at 12:55 a.m. on the noitaminA timeslot. A new key visual was also revealed (pictured). Banana Fish (Summer 2018) MAPPA's 2-cour TV anime also had a segment in the event, but it did not include new information.  Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System (January 2019) A new Psycho-Pass project has been announced. It will be 3-part movie, which will start in January 2019. Case 1: Tsumi to Batsu will feature Mika Shimotsuki and Nobuchika Ginoza, Case 2: First Guardian will feature Teppei Sugou and Tomomi Masaoka, Case 3: Onshu no Kanata ni___ will feature Shinya Kougami. Announcement  Koutetsujou no Kabaneri: Unato Kessen The announcement revealed that previously announced new Koutetsujou no Kabaneri anime will get a movie titled Unato Kessen. The movie will happen six months after the TV series and the battle continues at Unato. The movie is planned to premiere this year. The game project was also announced to connect the TV series and the movie. | Exciting! I hope the Psycho Pass movie project will be good as the other movie (unlike season 2). Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii should be a fun watch especially if they capture the chemistry of the character personalities. |

| I'm afraid if the psycho pass movie will be some kind of recap or side stories, considering the 2nd movie features already dead characters. I just hope that they will somehow have plot progression this time (season 2 and movie didn't give really meaningful plot). Another worrying thing is whether there are still fans who remember or care about psycho-pass. If these movies fail I doubt we'll see more of it in the future. |

I just read ANN's article and PV&pic kinda tells that it will focus on Mika instead @TheServant Yea I'm not really fond of season 2 or movie either, and you're right, I kinda gave up when there's no news about sequel since 2015 movie. I also thought the production team forgot about psycho-pass, which is strange considering how well the movie did on box office revenue. The next strange thing is the decision on these new movies' stories, which looks like it'll be some kind of side stories or something. |
| I guess I'll give Psych Pass a shot as a potential time waster. I'm not expecting more, I can barely remember what happened in the second season so I guess it didn't leave much of an impression on me. Aside from that, I can't believe they actually make sequel to Kabaneri. That show sucked. This one sentence sums it up pretty well. Noitamina always had trouble delivering but it's pretty bad when A1 show looks the least like a potential failure. They can't do action but maybe comedy will work out. |

| Kabaneri? Wasn't noitamin A a programmation supposed to bring out anime for a larger public? o_O Between those kind of series with very specific appeal and the number of sequels, it seems rather focused on pleasing the limited "anime audience". |

| I don't know why there is still excitement for Psycho Pass,it had an amazing first season but after that came a really mediocre movie then a horrible S2. Also, why would they use these S2 characters? They're just horrible, kill them and just disregard that entire plot. The bloody movie should've been the second season, it wasn't great but it wasn't as terrible as the s2 we got. |
