She stood back, her back against a tree and watched as Kenji challenged the Leshy all by himself, wondering if she would get experience for this fight too. (LOL JK, but seriously, if he kills it by himself, do I even get xp?) |

| The leshy saw no intention of running from Kenji, so he decided to close the whole arena with both Kenji and Rin inside. Now with ni escape the leshy began his attack, he quickly moved towards Kenji and started to throw a barrage of punches without any mercy in order to weaken Kenji and test his skills. @Raiores, @Alyssama |
Watch Rin, I got this one! Kenji charged at the Leshy as if returning its attacks by his own, but instead threw his cloak before getting close enough and sidestepped, throwing a bell from a different angle, and charged to slash at it from a third. From one side, the Leshy was blind, from the opposite, Kenji was attacking. From a third, it had to avoid the bell, as it would weaken it if they touched. The cloak was thrown to cover its face, so it had to do something about it too. And deal with Kenji too, he was prepared to stop his attack or shift it into a more effective one, which would catch the Leshy off guard. |

(Wrong character, you put Almon LOL!) Rin was watching attentively, her hand on her sword in case things got too out of control or the Leshy decided to cheat at all by summoning more monsters. She kept an eye on the field and on the fight as best as she could. |
| As the leshy noticed that his opponent tried to attack him from multiple angles he decided to simply block everythin, before ethier Kenji or the bell could reach him, while blindfolded by the cloak, he put his arms on the ground and made appear all around him a circular wall made of thick branches, this would block both the bell and Kenji, he took of his face the cloak, the he would remove the branches and then charge towards Kenji with some sort of shield made of branches, if successful he would keep the charge until he could smash Kenji towards the wall, if not, he would be already prepared to block any other attack with his free arm. Kenji caught the cloak in mid air and put it in after the Leshy took it off its face. He blocked the Leshy's attack with his sword and was pushed back. He didn't get hurt, but almost got squashed against the wall. He side stepped and kept done distance as he watched the Leshy for its next attack, waiting an opening. |

| The leshy watched how his opponent was avoided being squashed by his attack, Kenji was a really troublesome opponent, but he wasn't giving up so easily. From the distance he got out of him at least ten sharp branches and shoot them towards Kenji with the same speed as an arrow would have, and without wasting a second he followed the branches trajectories and prepared to punch Kenji with all his might @Raiores |
Kenji was in trouble now, having to avoid 10 branches and a Leshy punch. Woops, what was that below his feet, his bell? Oh, it lasts another post? Well, Kenji threw it at the Leshy, stopping it from attacking and leaving it open unless it somehow avoid. He deflected some of the branches away from him, he avoided some, he was hit by 2. He pulled one from his shoulder and threw it away as he charged at the monster. The other only scarred him as it passed by. He slashed off guard Leshy the moment he was close enough, which just so happens to be the moment the bell hits it. Unless it avoided somehow. Kenji would act differently in that case. Otherwise, he'd slash it and return his hand with an elbow to its face before he jumps backwards and prepares for its next move. |

| The leshy wasn't able to react in time to the bell as he wasn't expecting it, he received a hit from it and a slash on the same time. At the moment he was a slashed he quickly took advantage of the proximity of his opponent and with both his left and right arms he threw two whip like ascending attacks that covered a great distance so avoiding it would be quite dificult. @Raiores |
| The leshy decided not to give Kenji even a moment to breath as he restarted his charge towards him, this time again with the shield, but this time it had spikes so receiving it won't be any good, and at the same time as a countermeasure he had a big mace made of branches prepared to hit Kenji if he manged to avoid the charge. @Raiores |
Kenji watched calmly as the Leshy approached, observing its movements and the tools it had on it. He could neither take the attack nor avoid it by just jumping away. Nice! He let the Leshy get close, not too close though. He took a step to the right and threw his cloak to blind it. It was likely to miss if he dodged in that direction. But it could hit too. So he actually dodged to the left and slashed with his sword while expecting it to look at the other side. The moment the Leshy could see something appearing its left, it was too late. He jumped away from it right after stabbing it, the moment it could see him. Only if it had expected his move would the Leshy land an attack. Probably ((Sry, forgot Kenji >.<)) |
| The same trick wasn´t going to work twice as this time around the leshy used his spiky shield to receive and obliterate the cloak, and then taking advantage of the gain momentum he planted his left foot on the ground and using his mace he swinged all around him covering a great area that would hit anyrhing in the victinity. @Raiores, sorry, kind of been busy and forgot about it) |
The Leshy tore Kenji's cloak and attempted to attack him, but it's not he had stopped to watch what would be of his cloth. He had landed his attack and jumped away by the time the Leshy was starting its own. Only then did he realize the Leshy could actually throw it at him while airbone, but it only swung at him, missing by mere inches. It didn't attempt to throw it after, not before he was on the ground anyway. He sheathed his sword back on his side and observed the Leshy. I'll let you control of this area soon as it's ours. He didn't bother face her, but it was clear his words were for Rin. The fight could be just starting, but it's not like Kenji would lose here. This world is to be his one day after all. | Kenji was able to stab the leshy on the side, it was not very deep but surely made quite some damage, now playtime was over, the leshy without moving fron the spot in where he was he put both his "arms" on the ground, and suddenly from the ground, all around where Kenji was, six sturdy and sharp branches with spear form attacked kenji from six different angles, and a seventh spear came from underneath kenji at high speed. @Raiores |
Kenji smiled as he saw the flowing spears surround him. The next move was obvious. Kenji started running at one of the 6, knowing it was moving in his direction as well as the other one from behind. But he had no idea there was one that came out of the floor where he was standing and shot at the sky. The 2 spears were about to hit him from straight ahead and behind, but it's not like Kenji was just randomly running around. Whoop! The 2 arrows clashed above Kenji as he was lying on the ground after slipping on some leaves. How unexpected. He lied cross legged for the moment he fell, before quickly getting up. Having avoided all the branches, 6 by a plan, and 1 completely by luck, Kenji dashed at the Leshy, moving slowly around it as he got closer so he could avoid any more of its attack. He pulled his sword out and prepared to attack or defend depending on its next move. ((Sry, took me long XP just read the last few posts Leshy has 12 HP =D)) |
| Watching his lucky enemy avoid all the attacks, he decided to take on the offensive, using his branches he would create a thick shield on his left arm, and in his right he would create a battle axe with his branches. But instead of charging he would wait, not moving even a single inch, preparing to receive, defend, and counter any attack coming from Kenji. Leshy: 12 @Raiores |
Kenji stopped mid way to the Leshy and smirked at it with his hands in his pockets. Won't attack for once? A little glow could be noticed in his pockets as he taunted if the Leshy paid enough attention for wherever reason. Through a little hole in his pocket, after the glow disappeared, the bell fell inside his pants. If the Leshy attacked him, Kenji would back step to avoid it, making enough movement for the bell to fall in the Leshy's path. If it worked how his plan said, he would charge at it and stab before kicking it as a platform to jump a distance backwards. ((2 attacks here btw :P)) |
| The Leshy decided not to take any risk, he started to slowly get close to kenji, but not enough to be in attack range for both of them, at least not with his axe, instead from his arm he grew a spear and threw it towards Kenji, he knew that he would easily avoid it, after that he would throw two boomerang shaped projectiles towards Kenji and without waiting he would use some branches from his feet to impulse itself upwards and the jump towards Kenji back, even if he managed to avoid the boomerangs they would return thought their trajectory to attack once again, and also he would have to worry about having the Leshy attacking from the air towards his back. Kenji stood and watched as the spear was thrown at him. He could easily tell it was only for distraction. Even when the Leshy made the boomerangs, he he still thought it was just a distraction from something else. He deflected the spear with his sword and watched the creature soaring in the sky before he looked down again, seeing the boomeranges near him and blocking one with his sword and avoiding the other, letting it past him. Now both he had to worry about were behind him, Kenji could turn around and see them without worrying about protecting his back. Unless the Leshy made something behind his back. It had control over the forest anyway. It was still a few moments from landing, Kenji made a movement with his leg. It couldn't see from up there, but the bell was exactly where the Leshy would be landing. Kenji dashed at it, deflecting the second boomerang with his sword, and would slash it the moment it lands as it would be defenseless after landing on the bell. After it, he would withdraw his sword, jump backwards, and watch it from a distance. Don't think, just charge in! Kenji was just mocking it, but that doesn't mean it isn't a fact that the Leshy is not highly intelligent. |
| Not noticing the bell, the Leshy would land on top of if and would be left defenseless, meaning that Kenji attack would be more successful. The Leshy was starting to get tired of this guy tricks and started to charge against Kenji once mobility was regained, with his shield on one hand and axe on the other the Leshy would first attempt slicing Kenji with his axe, following a diagonally depending trajectory towards the left,. Even if Kenji were ti avoid he was ready to follow up and would do a semicircular slash with an horizontal trajectory towards the side that Kenji would evade. Leshy: 10 @Raiores |
Kenji pointed his sword at the Leshy. If it kept charging, it would get stabbed in the shoulder even before it's close enough to land the attack. That would likely leave its arm weakened. Kenji would grab its arm when it attacks as a way to counter. Otherwise, if it attempted to retreat and attack in a different way, Kenji would use the little time it uses to prepare for the next move and stab it, punch it, and jump away. If the Leshy just continued with its attack, and Kenji got to the part where he blocks it, it would either be weakened or still strong enough to beat him and land the attack. If it was weakened, Kenji would slash it and jump backwards to keep distance again. If it was still strong, however, he would talk the hit, hop to the side and back step twice to keep more distance. He needed some time to recover from taking that hit. |
| Or his opponent was overconfident or he simply underestimated the Leshy, not sure what he's plan was the Leshy just kept his charge without stopping and as he watched the sword pointing towards him with no particular movement, this made it easy for the Leshy to block it with his shield and change the course of the sword, with that out of the way the Leshy would continue its previous attack slashing Kenji. Apparently, the Leshy forgot the sword was pointed at its other arm, the unshielded one holding its weapon. It wasn't weakened despite the damage it took however, and still landed its attack. Kenji quickly jumped out of the axe's way and took some distance from the Leshy. His arm was badly damaged, but he luckily survived having his arm cut off. Heheh, is that all you got? You really stand no chance! |
| Even with arm hurt this would not be able to stop the Leshy from using his arm. Tired of this guy the Leshy simply took his shield and using the branches from the same created another battle axe, sacrificing his defenses in exchange for mor offensive power. Once ready the Leshy would once again approach his enemy, this time around not exactly charging, while he in fact was running towards Kenji he was doing so slower than before, not because he was hurt, but because he was being cautious about his opponent pulling out any other trick. Once being close enough, and without any surprises, he would attack Kenji with both axes following the next pattern: both following a descending trajectory, right axe upwards, left axe diagonal up towards the right, step backwards, throws the left axe toward Kenji, right axe for defense. Realizing the Leshy was finally using what intelligence it has, Kenji decided to go all out with the fight. He could have been tired by what they've already been through, but it was just warm ups for him, and for the Leshy too he thought. It started attacking once close enough, it's attacks were easily avoidable, but left no room for one of his own. He could avoid the first 3 by just back stepping, considering the Leshy's slowness having to use such heavy weapons as battle axes. The distance between them was enough not to worry about an attack of its while preparing to make one now when they both jumped back. Kenji blocked the axe the Leshy through with histhe blade of his sword and supported it from the other side with his arm. He wasn't cut as he didn't use the edges. After blocking the axe, he grabbed it, stepped heavily towards the Leshy as he tried to lift it, and threw it back there. He quickly dashed behind it and would use the opening the Leshy would have to leave him to stop its own weapon to slash it as he kept dashing, reaching some distance between them for safety after it would be free to attack him if it wanted. He was still ready to counter or avoid any attack it would throw at him if it decided to take the hit to land one however. |
| Seeing both an axe coming towards him and Kenji trying to position himself behind the Leshy, but as he was putting his whole anger towards Kenji he would just reinforce as much as he could his back where the axe would land to minimize damage, as he would rather let the axe hit his back rather than giving it's opponent any other opening. Once facing Kenji after receiving the axe he would once again try to cut Kenji with the axe but would also add some punches with its free hand this time around. Leshy: 7 @Raiores |
Kenji blocked the attack like he did the first axe, and used the force in it to push himself away and avoid the punches. He failed to land an attack, but he did deal the damage however. He was expecting the Leshy to charge at him now, and kept his defense up the moment he landed and even before it, when he was still airborne. He was focusing a lot on the defensive now in his tiredness. He stood no chance otherwise. |
| Noticing that his battle axe weren't fast enough to effectively hit Kenji, he broke his axe and took the left branches to reinforce his fist so Kenji sword can't cut him that easily, and once again charged against Kenji, this time delivering a barrage of fast paced multiple punches to overwhelm Kenji. Kenji avoided the first few punches while gathering some energy, and threw his bell. Wether it avoided the bell somehow or just got the hit, it would leave an opening for Kenji to slash while jumping backwards for some distance. He would observe afterwards, expecting it to attack again quickly. |
| The Leshy didn't really think too much during his attack, so avoiding that bell was out of question, letting Kenji freely slash the Leshy. Now angrier than ever the Leshy prepared what it seemed to be his last card and was preparing to finish this. From his back, near his shoulders, two other arms appeared, these were created with his branches and what seemed a great effort, with this four arms prepared to deliver yet another barrage, the Leshy quickly charged against Kenji and started his attack, delivering fast punches with his four arms against Kenji. Kenji observed the opponent's technique for a moment, showing some interest in it. That was a formidable foe indeed. Almon charged through the distance he had just made, as if to clash with the Leshy. He, however, stopped before entering its range and turned to run in a different direction. It could play a round with him, but Kenji was one mouse this cat wouldn't catch. Not easily at least. He was expecting it to either do so or pin him down with another technique using its branches, and had a little something planned for both scenarios. |
| Thinking while blinded by rage it's no easy task, especially when you're a bunch of branches reanimated by magic. His course of action was rather predictable, he only kept charging towards Kenji, preparing to free a barrage of punches once reaching Kenji, but before that he needed to actually catch him, through this battle he used plenty of his branches and magic, so in fact he couldn't really create anything or bring out any weird tactics, but still, with the idea of slowing Kenji down, using his only available branches without compromising his actual structure, he created four small branches that were shaped like arrows, and threw them towards Kenji legs at a high speed. @Raiores |
Kenji attempted to avoid the branches of hopping forward, but he was scarred by one. It wasn't major, nor did it matter much. He was getting tired, but the battle was getting over soon so he needn't worry about that. He turned around and charged at the Leshy, again, turning around before reaching into its range to run in a third direction. He had done that before, so it probably wouldn't be as easy as first time. He as fully prepared for anything it would try. He couldn't afford to mess up now after all. |
| Seeing his enemy try once again the same tactics, not that the Leshy could actually predict or use that well enough, as at least Kenji wasn't caught at first. But not giving him any chance to run away enough to gain a considerable distance the Leshy would quickly began the chase, and considering his opponent state it wouldn't take him long before reaching him, once close enough he would jump towards him and try once again his onslaught of punches @Raiores |
Kenji let out a little laugh as he quickly reached where the Leshy was standing earlier. He hadn't run that far away, so he could reach in less time than the Leshy needed to catch him. He only needed to weaken it and land his last blow now. Almon caught the axes the Leshy held earlier and dragged them as he ran away. He turned around as it jumped at him, and threw them quickly above its shoulders. They were aimed to cut its extra arms off. He quickly jumped at it, throwing his bell as soon as it was ready, and slashing it in midair. He quickly kicked it after, pushing it away and jumping safe distance from there. Assuming his plan worked, after landing to the ground, Kenji then only would have to land the final blow to have won this battle. |
| Kenji attack took the Leshy by surprise and wasn't able to react appropriately to him and received attack after attack, also loosing both his extra arms, still it waa enough to finish him off, at least the Leshy was weak and was practically falling apart, but wouldn't go without a last struggle. He ripped off his right arm and using what he had left of magic transformed his arm into a sword, preparing his final attack he sprinted towards Kenji, holding his sword over his head, and made a downward slash towards Kenji with all his final might. Kenji was breathing heavily, struggling to keep standing after that whole battle. He tightened the grip on his sword and charged towards the Leshy. It was about time they finished off their battle. He clashed his sword with its. He pushed hard as he could, but was pushed back. The Leshy was physically stronger. He only had a few seconds before it would outdo him. But he knew better than to panic. Kenji lifted his head up, it looked the Leshy's eye, his filled with tire. He was struggling to hold himself together in their clash, and was failing. He looked at it, and moved his lips to draw a smile on his face. A smirk, a smile of happiness that came after victory. The glow was covered by his hand and the handle of the sword. He left his weapon and quickly stepped closer to his opponent, pushing his bell against it a last time. If he would hit this time, he would push it all the way inside it, spreading its vibes throughout its body from inside, destroying it and breaking it down. You fought well... Kenji would whisper to his fallen enemy before it would fall apart. It was the first land he conquered, he was just starting his journey. And it was a good start. |
| Over, it was all over, the Leshy didn't have enough strength nor force to keep up, and once the bell was inside him it was too late for him to do anything, he just stood there as the branches from his body were slowly falling apart, until his "head" fell to the ground, still a whisper could be heard with the wind "well done... Young warrior" The wall that was covering the area fell apart letting way for Kenji to leave the woods with Rin. Leshy: 0 @Raiores |
Kenji Roka Lifespan: 1/6 C/D: 2 posts cool down Rest in peace and worry not, for your home is in good hands. Kenji put his finger beneath its eye ball, pressing and gouging it out. It was to prove his victory, and to remember a brave warrior that once stood strong against him. He slowly walked out of the woods, leaving Rin to do what she wants till he needs her again. It was time for some rest now, the Leshy fought well and tired him out. It was enough to call it a day. |
