New to anime!

Hi everyone! I just started to watch anime probably a few weeks ago. I started watching anime when i was surfing on youtube looking for something to watch. I came across Ghost Stories in the anime section of youtube and started to watch it. That show was kind of interesting so i decided to give other animes a go. I am currently looking for animes to watch. So any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Hmm.. recommendations, huh? I have many from a lot of genres...
I guess I'll say Cowboy Bebop too and ...
Lovely Complex, Death Note, Soul Eater, YuYu Hakusho, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
(well, the last 2 are kinda long ones YuYu Hakusho has 112 eps and KHR! has 175 and it's still on-going so...)

Welcome to MAL, and congrats for finding the site so soon after discovering anime.
Seeing as how you gave Aishiteruze Baby such a high rating, you should probably try out Baby and Me (aka-chan to boku) It's got a similar premise, and is just as heart-warming.

Welcome!

I recommend Elfen Lied, short series, kinda sad and bloody. But great.
Death Note, slightly longer series but more of a mystery type. Less bloody.
Bleach, which is just awesome.
Spice and Wolf, which is a bit different than all of the above, but different in a good way.

I don't want to describe them any more than that, I'm afraid I'll spoil something.
