| If this episode doesn't prove that there's been some development in their relationship, then I don't know what will. I'm expecting the final 3 episodes to be pretty big. Having read the manga, I expect most of their best chapters to be saved until the end. |

| I'm gonna be blunt this show sucks big time, I regret ever picking it up. When I'm watching it my eyes become like a dead fish, with nothing interesting from the teasing by Takagi. I think it's childish and Nishikata is one dumb insipid idiot for falling for such stupid pranks. I think this wasn't made for me and this Takagi character isn't that fun to watch, I think she's one lonely kid who gets bored by picking on such a dense nincompoop baka kid. I don't see romance here or humor, even if they end falling in love I doubt it would warm my heart or be genuine. If I was a dropper this would be it, I guess my rating will punish it if it is bad in the end. |

| Just realized that their school is overlooking the sea, with mountains in the background. The relaxing vibes went up fivefold It's a super nit-picky thing but I love how how they wipe the same little area of the chalk board like 10 times in a row Should be cute when they start actually texting each other instead of nishikata just trying to send scary videos. The first phone call was a good start and was indeed quite a cute moment. BURST-O MODE-O??!! He kept the photo of her, how sweet. |

| at this point was giving for granted they all already own cell phones but the plot didn't think about how much it was convenient for them to keep on going... back in my day, almost nobody got one before the end of junior high, including me one or two months after beginning high school (it wasn't that useful when the institute was still in the exact little town, but after the newer one needed public transportation...) Yeah, that video teasing was the best fakeout, and the real one obviously in the morning wouldn't have had the same effect, and obviously she would have changed her face just in time to avoid an embarrassing one. |
