It has received the 31st Annual Japan SF Award on the same year. The novel centers around a fourth-grader, Aoyama-kun, investigating the mysterious reason behind the suddenly appearance of penguins in his village, which is somehow related to a power from a lady working at a dental clinic. | Studio Colorido typically make shorts so I'm really happy this is getting a film treatment. Hopefully it's a full-length feature film. From what I can see, it's got an interesting premise and it being written by the author of TTG and UK does feel like it has something worthwhile to say. Definitely gonna be out to see this as soon as it's released. Seems like the type of thing I can really get behind. |

| I'm cautiously optimistic. Solid source material and staff. I loved Yuu Aoi as Alice in Hana & Alice, so I'm happy to see her back. More importantly though, are we ever going to get any official translations of Tomihiko Morimi novels? |
