| Looks like they're handling Ao pretty good so far, great action chapter. Hit him with that Rasengan at the end but luckily he blocked it. The fight continues. |

| A very action-packed chapter. I like it. Ikemoto's style is really growing on me too, and being able to draw dynamic scenes like these is a testament to his ability as an artist. I'm very curious to see how they'll design some of the characters for the anime adaptation when they eventually catch up, given that some of them look quite different from the distinct Kishimoto/Tetsuya style that we see in the anime. I loved the bit where Boruto made Ao pick up the sword to drain him of his chakra. Somehow I didn't see that coming, and I think that was really clever writing. Of course, Boruto being a Shadow Clone is something anyone could've guessed from a mile away. Any time someone gets trapped or killed in Naruto/Boruto, 90% of the time it's a clone. |
It was mentioned in the dialogue that he lost his Byakugan in the war. |
| Fantastic chapter, loved the strategy pulled off by Boruto and the rest to get Ao to pick up the beamsword and have it drain his chakra. Wondering what else Ao possibly has up his sleeve to try killing them? Man this is going to be awesome whenever the anime reaches this part of the story. |
