I'm trying to find something a woman in her late twenties would enjoy. I don't want to give her something that insults her as a woman as I think most manga is more than capable of doing. Has anyone followed this series? I think so far it's just the one book released in the US, with the second on the way, but I'm just looking for some idea of what to expect.

I'm reading it. It's ok, but a little lose on story. Very slice of life kind of thing, which I enjoy but is not for everyone.

Personally I would recomend Tramps Like Us. Over all I think it's a better title, though it's is a bit more light hearted. But I think the characters in it are much more well fleshed out and a bit more intresting.

I'm reading "Suppli" too :). I really like it. That manga giving me positive energy. I don't know why, because "Suppli" is rather sad. Fuuji have a faith.

I haven't read the manga, but the live action tv drama version is a lot of fun :)

They are quite different though.

I started buying the Tokyopop US edition, but unfortunately it doesn't look like it'll be continued. They stopped after book 3, then published 4 and 5 in one edition. And that's it.
Just a warning to those people who like to have their favourite mangas as books, like me. :(

I've read the first 5 volumes, but I'll have to finish it online.
