| The more the better :3 Apparently there's enough material for two 24-26 episodes long seasons, and I don't think there's gonna be one super long (50+ eps), simply because that's not how anime are made nowadays... I'm guessing there are gonna be two seasons with one longer break in between. We''ll see! |

| i think it could be 50 episodes in 2 seasons (25 episodes + 25 episodes) just like shokugeki no souma season 3. but 50 episodes in 1 season is fine, and i hope they make it better than 2 seasons before |

| 24 episodes wont be enough to cover all. It'll be a complete clusterf**k if they decided to do so So we can look forward to 50 episodes or more, even if they split & do 24/25 eps over 2 or more season. We'll see :) |

An average half-season of 13 episodes or so is usually 2-3 light novels. An average full season of 24-25 is around 3-4. Season 1 was 25 eps & 4 novels, give or take part of light novel 8. Season 2 was 24 eps & 3 novels. Alicization was from 9-18/19. Couldn't find the next translation so I stopped following, but if A-1 does the same thing for Season 1 and 2, you can expect the same numbers. |

| Alicizarion is a huge arc, it would most likely be 50-ish episodes if they were going to pace it the same way they have all the other volumes, but that seems very unlikely for them to do, it had been a long time since season 2 so maybe they’ve been preparing for a long airing slot but I doubt it. My thoughts are they’ll be two season worth of alicizarion each worth around 24 episodes each. If they do end up doing 51 episodes I’ll be very surprised but that’s a good way to keep SAO in the public consciousness. |
