| I'm having the same problem for the past 3 days and its really annoying. Even if you change your pic again, the same thing will happen. Hopefully they fix it soon. |

| Like Iizbakaokay said, it may be worth trying some of the solutions written here. You can also try doing a hard refresh (ctrl+f5) of your profile page or the image itself. Otherwise clearing your browser cache may also work. From here, I see most of the profile pics were recently changed, so they are appearing correctly to others but a browser cache issue may be causing the old one to appear only to yourself. -- Duplicate threads merged. Off-topic posts removed. |

| I've tried everything that is recommended, and it still is playing up. Seems like everyone who changed their profile picture within the past week is having the same issue. I have logged out a few times to see which picture appears whilst not being signed in, and sometimes it is my new one, but other times it is back to my old one. So... it looks to be flipping back and forth no matter what. :/ It's rather annoying after three/ four days. |

| Pure assumption: DB cannot access the current picture because of load so it falls back to old photo as a backup. This is also why adter deleting your profile pic and add something new you still see the old one. While loading the new pic it uses the old pic. Saying this since it happened to me while site loads veeery slowly. Also no its not an issue on my internet since I tested it. Also you can guess how slow that loading was based on this. |
