Matsuda and co. probably didn't want to shock them so they hid the truth. Sayu (Kira's sis) got a trauma from her kidnapping,she is seen on a wheelchair getting pushed by her mom then later on, she appeared with her friends at New year's eve or something she looked okay but when she smiled, her eyes looked dead. The second theory Some say that Matsuda married Sayu and they had a son called Soichiro, named after Light and Sayu’s father. Twenty years later, Matsuda explains everything to Sayu. Light’s mother and his sister were also told that Light died in an attempt to kill Kira, thereby hiding the truth. |
