 An official website has opened and revealed that the sports manga Hanebado! will be getting a TV anime adaptation. The series is scheduled to premiere for Summer 2018. More cast members and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.Additionally, the manga creator has announced that a side story novel based one year before the events of the manga is slated to publish by Kodansha's light novel bunko imprint on June 29, 2018. The novel will be penned by Yuuichi Mochizuki and drawn by the manga author. Synopsis Ayano Hanesaki, a first-year student at Kanagawa Prefectural Kitakomachi High School, has a badminton ability able to surpass others effortlessly yet avoids playing the sport. She meets Nagisa Aragaki, a third-year student who practices day and night aiming to become the best player in Japan. Encouraged by coach Kentarou, Tachibana supported by club colleagues, and fired up by various rivals, the two engage in their youth and adored sport so thrilling like a shuttle flown at high speed! In any case, although none of these titles are dedicated to the kinds of sports that I enjoy, I will be interested in watching these shows. |

But in general, I'm not against yuri, if this is done adequately, and not so intrusive and fetishized as in the last volumes of the Life of the Centaur. |

| Oh boy! I played Badminton throughout my school life all the way to my university days (alongside tennis and football)! I have to say I am very average when it came to competitive badminton. I never went beyond the second round. But I Love this sports. The level of details is already amazing. I would love to see if the foot works are done properly. Already enjoyed the small clip between 018s and 022s. I would really love it if it's more like Haikyuu or Oofuri, that is realistic. |

| I don't have much of a positive opinion on LIDENFILMS tbh, but the staff looks pretty good, PV animation is fantastic but we will see when it actually comes out. Badminton was like the only sport I could play decently on school, so watching an anime of it might be neat, I will probably check out the manga since it seems to have some chapters translated. |
