| Luck's past was so rushed, did not feel connected, didn't feel anything actually. Very unnatural. And then they gave us a flashback of the events that happened a few minutes ago 0.0 *sigh* But i'm still enjoying the anime.... |

| Now Luck's flashback is finally revealed, so he wants to keep winning with his own power alone because he wanted his mom to be happy for him, despite him being a weird person who cannot be sad or angry. This is sure an interesting aspect of Luck's personality, now how will Asta get him to stop thinking in that way to win... Aaaaand it's bad... Luck's thoughts of defeating an enemy all by himself are quickly and immediately erased literally as Asta started to swing his greatsword around. WTF?! Even for a shonen with cheesy character development, this is just too much!!! How the fuck did Luck suddenly change his way of thinking that he's been having since he was a child in a matter of seconds?! And all happen so underwhelmingly! This is ridiculous! I thought that this might be an interesting thing about Luck, but all of that is nothing anymore... luck realized so fast wow At least there's a decent, albeit obvious teamwork between them, the smoke guy is too cocky and inexperienced to rely on his magic sensing alone and got caught off-guard, allowing Asta to yeet over to him and smack him with Asta's greatsword. Satisfying crush though! |

| I wasn't impressed by Luck's backstory and I wasn't impressed by the fight either. Although seeing him suddenly get hit by Asta's sword made me laugh. The other diamond mage guy looks really op right now. I hope the fight with him is more interesting than it was with the smoke guy. |

| Seeing Luck's Backstory was nice, even if it was pretty short, everything was presented. The way they took on the Lotus guy ended pretty funny, they did have a good strategy though. There were some scene switching that kinda felt messy here but in this arc, most things are getting better. The premise and the Diamond guy are pretty interesting. |

| About time Asta and Noelle catches up to Luck he's not doing so well in this situation The Golden Dawn is having a rough time as well not only does Black Bull have an opponent in their hands but Golden Dawn's opponent seems stronger than that smoke guy Black Bull is up against and a few flashbacks from Luck's past he was a commoner as well and he had a very scarring childhood, Finally the teamwork they planned and Noelle has a certain use of her magic even though she can't control it This opponent from Golden Dawn sure looks strong even Yuno is struggling to face him in battle, This is the one we all know where the OVA is premiering. |

| Poor Luck, I wna give him a hug!!!! Noelle is so cute her reactions and everything are so cute omg I love her. SHES SO CUTE LOL and I love her dynamic with Asta the previous episode had me laughing at them and I lost it when she used her magic water ball to catapult him up loooooool wtf Still many off-model drawings......I heard the art & animation both improve gradually. Hopefully lol.... You would think they could have been more subtle. Not only was the flashback shown right at the start, they had to literally repeat and echo the exact same dialogue that Yuno and Asta had when they were kids. Omg I felt like a 12 year old watching that. Yes I know that’s literally the target audience but pLS GIVE TWEENS SOME CREDIT I’m sure they can understand nuances just fine without it being shoved in their faces. In the first place it’s not even that deep of a nuance for kids to process. Couldn’t they just put the flashback at the end and without that cringe ass flashback voiceover that would have been so much better lol pls. It threw me off so bad. They really thought they did something ㅠㅡㅠ |

| Watching this series for the first time I think the first arc was kinda eh but it's picking up! I like these two new villains, especially the ice one, and I think Luck's powers are dope. |
